China has allowed the import of pork from the Russian Federation since January 24, lifting restrictions on supplies from Russia that were introduced in September 2023. This decision was made following a risk assessment and analysis of the government's control system for African swine fever (ASF).
The lifting of restrictions may have a positive impact on the RusAgro company, which ranks third in the Russian Federation in pork production.
