Anthony is from Edgewater, New Jersey, and has a background in programming, particularly in Java. He started out selling Minecraft server plugins online as a hobby, but eventually transitioned to working on eCommerce, specifically drop-shipping stores on Shopify. Through this work, he became skilled at advertising and gained experience in software as a service (SaaS) products. He studied computer science at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.
Anthony became interested in the Solana blockchain in 2021, but was disappointed with the core infrastructure and projects on the platform, particularly the Solana Name Service. He believed it was simply a copy of the Ethereum Name Service (ENS) rather than something truly innovative. This led him to discover Sui, which he found to be a more enjoyable development experience. Anthony's goal is to build the Sui community and create demand for games on the platform in order to bring more adoption.
In addition to building great software products, Anthony also wants to create a new type of crypto company on Sui that is focused on helping as many people as possible. He wants to avoid the greed and excess that he has seen in the crypto industry, and is committed to building projects that are transparent and fair to their users. He is particularly interested in bringing ownership back to the people through the use of blockchain technology.
