So far we have seen Art, Memes, Videos being incentivised on several Web 3.0 creator platforms. However, Base App has opened a whole new stream of rewarding creator by making every post of them a coin! However, seeing how crowded the crypto space already is with millions of the meme coins and coins with zero utility, making each post a coin doesn’t provide any additional value to the crypto space. Just like meme coins, people will keep losing their money on buying posts that may be shilled out by creators who have massive following on other creator spaces. While this idea might work in short term, unless Base App can make its creators earn on its platform regardless of whether or not the posts are purchased, people will lose interest and the App will just be another version of Farcaster.
