Meta is Facebook's new name that focuses on the Metaverse. The term metaverse is being widely discussed in cyberspace shortly after Facebook CEO, Mark Zuckerberg changed his company name to Meta Platforms Inc., on October 28, 2021.The term metaverse was coined by Neal Stephenson in his 1992 novel entitled Snow Crash, referring to a 3D virtual world inhabited by avatars of real people. Facebook has revealed a simple description of the metaverse that is, a virtual space device, where one can create and explore with other internet users who are not in the same physical space as that person.
