The “Publicity Month for the protection of minors under the rule of law” adopted the forms of “publicity, supervision, issuance and handling” to promote the popularity of the law on the protection of minors, the law on the prevention of juvenile delinquency and the law on the promotion of family education. During the publicity month, the procuratorial organs of the whole province will organize activities such as sending law to schools, communities, villages and families, visiting the legal education base and holding legal essay solicitation. The “two laws” and the family education promotion law were widely publicized by means of making publicity panels, banners and videos on the rule of law, so as to promote citizens’ legal awareness. And give full play to the function of legal supervision, take the initiative to combine the activity of “Publicity Month for the protection of minors under the rule of law” with the special legal supervision action of “inspecting and loving peers and protecting the future”, and carry out legal supervision on food and drug safety, children’s amusement facilities safety, entertainment games, campus and surrounding safety issues and other key areas involving the interests of many minors.

At the same time, a press conference will be held and a number of typical cases involving minors in our province will be released in combination with the actual situation of the procuratorial organs of our province in handling cases involving minors in recent years. We will strengthen citizens’ concern and attention to the personal safety of minors and the prevention of juvenile delinquency, and strive to enhance the risk prevention awareness and ability of minors. In addition, on the occasion of the “June 1 International Children’s Day”, according to the unified arrangement and deployment of the procuratorial open day of the Supreme People’s Procuratorate, the procuratorial organs of the whole province will hold procuratorial open day activities with local characteristics of Qinghai, adhere to the combination of “please come in” and “go out”, constantly strengthen and improve procuratorial work, and try to solve the urgent and difficult problems of the people in the protection of minors.
