think raydium days. you'd hop on dexscreener (or MAYBE photon new pairs if you were tapped in) and wait to find something that had the LP burnt and mint/freeze auth revoked. good times. braindead easy.
fast forward a bit, april 2024, you'd hop on pump.fun and look for a cute character that had a TG community with people photoshopping the character into random scenarios, usually crypto adjacent memes, not the slop we have nowadays (think along the lines of bogdanoff memes).
now we treat trading memecoins like a way to trade the newest niche headlines, not a meme. memes are defined by internet culture. coins are a specific niche of the internet. what happened?
99% of you don't even know what mirror.xyz is. so I won't even explain that. but anyways.
you used to be able to throw .5-1 sol (or .1 eth) into a coin based off the fact that you believed it could maybe be liked by other people. and it would RUN. vibes mattered. tg stickers mattered. WE COULD ACTUALLY ALL WIN.

everything is getting farmed at valuations that didn't even exist 2-3 years ago (coins used to just spawn at 20-50k without even getting bundled, ofc that depended on what the dev set starting mc to but whatever lol). nobody even gives a fuck about if there's a meme anymore.
it's either "who devved this" "is the bundle good" "is the picture correct" and whatever other bullshit you newfags can come up with.
there are no "good coins" anymore. there is no conviction anymore. the "conviction" is borrowed off of whatever wallet you have that is in the coin.
