The collapse of the PC in 2022 and the continued decline in the volume of the goods are also a matter of inaction.
The Market Research Agency, Counterpoint, issued a report that, in the fourth quarter of 2022, global PC yields were as low as 27.8 per cent to 65.2 million, creating a new historically low overall yield of only 286 million.
According to Counterpoint, the continuing decline in the volume of deliveries is yet another proof of the global demand for the PC market, which has declined for four consecutive years. No significant rebound is expected in the first half of 2023.
Institutions such as IDC, on the other hand, are similar views and conclusions, which are very much pressured for the market as a whole.
As a result of over-stocking over the past few months, in order to stimulate demand, the average sales prices of many sources have also declined. Despite these efforts, stock management of finished computers and spare parts will continue to be a key issue in the coming quarter, with the potential to further influence average sales prices.
According to IDC, although the market could recover in 2024, it could not be overly optimistic, but it was accompanied by an increase in the cost of purchasing notebooks by a number of users.
