On behalf of the Astral Kingdom, we are excited to announce several developments that have taken place over the past few weeks.

First and foremost, the Capricorn collection release will now take place as the sun transitions from Capricorn to Aquarius on January 19, 2022. In part due to new developments, we would like to celebrate the period of Capricorn by releasing the collection just before the new zodiac sign.

The biggest change that was decided to be necessary was the transition from Solana to Ethereum for our underlying blockchain. Due to a desire to build towards a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO), we have few options other than building the Astral Kingdom on the Ethereum blockchain. We have further detail to release in regards to the DAO later this week.

A leading factor in our decision to build towards a DAO is the goal of buying land, and thus splitting ownership, for the Astral Kingdom. Having partnered with musicians, 3D creative technologists, and event promoters, we are excited about the prospect of owning real estate in the metaverse where we will develop music venues, yoga studios, gardens, gyms, meditation centers, and other recreational areas based on community governance. Splitting ownership, airdropping future NFTs, and democratic decision-making will all be seamlessly done as a DAO.

As we have approximately one month until the Capricorn release, we have turned our focus onto the upgrade of our public image. In this, we mean the enhancement of our whitepaper, timeline and roadmap, partners, and artwork, all of which will be found on our website. The extra time allows us to further diversify our Capricorn asset rarity list, including the creation of 1 of 1’s. These ten ultra-rare designs will be split: three in the mint and seven to be auctioned off with proceeds going to the DAO treasury.

To further develop our community’s reach, we are scheduling consistent question and answer sessions on Twitter Spaces and Podcasts with a diverse range of individuals. We have the hopes to expand into the domains of spirituality and web3 while rewarding community members who contribute in meaningful ways.

Transitioning into a DAO will allow the Astral Kingdom to progressively decentralize into self-sustaining community building towards community-determined goals.
