The Scientific Report published on 11 May of this newspaper published a study pointing out that up to 8 per cent of the concretes and booths used for the construction of single-storey houses could be replaced by dredging one-time urine without significantly diminishing their carrying capacity. The author suggests that the abandoned one-time paper urine or building materials that can be used as low-cost economic housing in low- and middle-income countries.
A one-time urine is usually produced with wood, cotton, glues, and plastics such as polyures, polyvinyl ethylene and polypropylene. Most of the discarded one-time urine is disposed of by filling or burning.
Saswanti Zuraida and colleagues from the Japan City University of Kitakyushu have bleaked and shattered abandoned one-time urine with cement, sands, rubble and water, moulding concrete and coltan samples, which have been rebuilt for 28 days. Subsequently, the authors selected six different samples of abandoned paper urine, testing how much pressure they could afford without breaking down.
Taken together, the concrete required for the construction of a single-storey building measuring 36 square metres could be replaced by an abandoned one-time urine equivalent to 1.7 cubic metres of paper urine, with a maximum of 8 per cent of the sands in the thumb building materials.
