How to revoke your token approvals on optimism

For revoking the token approval, we will be using the optimism block explorer ’s token approval tool here. Below is direct link to the optimism’s approval checker.

  • Go to the optimism’s approval checker website

  • Connect your wallet

Click the Connect to Web3 button, choose the MetaMask in the pop-up window. In MetaMask, choose your optimism wallet account.

Please note: If you find that there is is no change in the website interface at this time, repeat the above operation.

Once you’ve successfully connected your wallet, you will see all the approvals for the wallet account as follows.

The ERC-20 tab for the token approvals, and the ERC-721 tab for the NFT approvals.

  • Revoke Token

Once you located the token approval that you would like to revoke, click the Revoke button on the right of the entry.

Click the Revoke button, then check the transaction details on the MetaMask and click Conform.

Good job, you’ve successfully revoked a token approval. Click the View you transaction button, you can see the transaction details on the optimism block explorer.
