Coinvise Product Design
I’m a crypto product designer with a marketing background in consumer brands and web3 startups. I am not an expert, but I have a really curious mind. For over twenty years Lightspeed has been the first investor and an early backer of some of the most innovative companies in the world.
In 2020, I had a fascinating opportunity to work as a Design Consultant for Lightspeed India's operations. Before this, it had never occurred to me that even VC firms need to actively market themselves! This exposure changed my thinking on how VCs need to be on the edge of startup culture and to be top-of-mind when it comes to raising funds. My work helped LSVP develop identity systems for various outreach programs and I focused on building their brand presence on social media.
Launched in 2018, Extreme Entrepreneurs is an in-house training program for founders from India & SEA. Each year, mentors from India and abroad are invited to deliver sessions, masterclass and mentorship to the upcoming founders. The success of Lightspeed EE also inspired the likes of Sequoia Capital’s Surge.

In 2021, I was tasked with designing the visual theme for a program and creating a design library for its landing page, marketing collaterals, and on-ground sessions. The 2021 edition was mentored by global leaders including Balaji Srinivasan, former Chief Technology Officer of Coinbase and Ryan Roslansky, CEO of LinkedIn.
My initial concepts explored two distinct design directions.
The first option drew inspiration from the program's venue, The Common Room, a unique space featuring clean geometric lines, wooden panels, and conversational platforms. I translated these elements into a visual theme that incorporated similar shapes and a warm color palette reflecting the use of wood.

My second concept tackled the program's theme, "Dare the Daredevils." This theme evoked images of fighter jets and the intense training pilots undergo. I envisioned a design using bold colors, dynamic compositions, and perhaps even abstract interpretations of speed and flight to capture the spirit of the program.
After exploring both options, the concept inspired by the theme was ultimately chosen for its bold and rich imagery, which aligned well with the program's goals.

The Lightspeed experience allowed me to develop my skills in designing for a target audience of startups and investors, while also focusing on building brand presence on social media platforms.
