All Cooped Up: The Game

The 13th BizarreBeasts game is live in the BIZarcade.

Recently, I shared that my 80-second looping gallery animation, All Cooped Up, was selected for the Our Art 2026 exhibition at the Alexander Gallery in Fayetteville.

All 123 hand-drawn chickens staring back at you from the wall were built using custom software I engineered with AI as my co-pilot to bring my raw illustrations to life. Because the installation is built specifically for a physical gallery space, running on a seamless, infinite 12-week loop, I will not be sharing the full gallery video online until after the exhibition opens on September 25.

So instead of making the BizarreBeasts community wait, I built a fun, new way for you to interact with the artwork right now.

Today, the 13th BizarreBeasts game is live inside the BIZarcade. All Cooped Up: The Game is free to play on desktop and mobile, it takes thirty seconds, and it runs right in your browser, and you can save the app to your home screen.

Every chicken you see in the game is posed live on your screen using the exact same hand-drawn rig that posed the flock on the gallery wall, featuring three distinct character variations and 180 base combinations.

The Gameplay

Eggs fall from the top of the screen. Tap the correct ones and each egg hatches a chicken that joins your crowd at the bottom of the screen. The crowd you build is your score.

🕹 How to Play

  • TAP the blue eggs to hatch chickens.

  • SKIP the orange eggs. Tap one and a chicken from your crowd scatters.

  • STREAK: Six blue in a row turns the next egg gold, and a gold egg hatches three chickens.

  • HURRY: You have thirty seconds, and the eggs drop faster as the clock ticks down.

Share Your Crowd

When the timer runs out, tap Share to post your crowd of chickens, or Save a unique collectible card of your crowd. Every crowd gets its own unique ID and page, where your crowd is redrawn from the same hand-drawn parts.

Share the link and the preview shows your exact crowd. Nobody else who plays the game will have the same chickens in your exact arrangement. The game changes every single time you play!

Why I Built The Game

All Cooped Up goes on the wall at the Alexander Gallery on September 25 for twelve weeks. The game is an extension of the artwork and offers all viewers a unique way to interact with the animated piece. This game hands you the chickens from the artwork and lets you be a part of creating the experience.

From the BizarreBeasts Series

The chickens aren't only a game and a gallery piece. The same hand-drawn rig appears in an upcoming episode of the BizarreBeasts animated series I'm creating for exclusive release on DCP+. The series is backed by a $100,000 A3 Startup Award from the Arts3 Foundation, administered by Decentralized Pictures.

Behind-the-scenes look at concepting

I built my own animation studio to make the show: the tools that pose, time, and render the characters I draw. Every chicken here—in the scene, on the wall, and in the game—comes out of that same studio. One set of drawings, three places to experience them.

About The Artist

post image

I'm the artist, animator, and creator behind BizarreBeasts ($BB), creating a universe where art and web3 technology converge. This is where everything I am intersects: a lifelong artist captivated by darkly humorous art, a creative entrepreneur, a self-taught builder who coded 13 original games and an onchain miniapp from scratch, a musician performing original soundtracks, and a true BIZARRE believer in decentralized creativity.

This project was born from a vision of what's possible when an artist fully owns their creative universe, exploring the opportunities and economies that web3 enables to build a legacy of creativity and freedom for myself and the BizarreBeasts community.

In early 2026, I walked away from a six-figure corporate position to create BizarreBeasts full-time, and moved the studio to Bentonville, Arkansas. BizarreBeasts is an Arts3 Foundation A3 Startup Award recipient, earning $100K in funding for a ten-episode animated series currently in production, premiering on DCP+ at the platform's launch this fall as part of its opening slate. DCP+ is the streaming platform empowering independent creators from Decentralized Pictures.

My animation "All Cooped Up" was selected for Our Art 2026 at the Alexander Gallery, presented by Walton Arts Center in Fayetteville, one of 102 works chosen from the 659 submitted by 371 artists, on view September 25 through December 20.
