Deep Community Engagement: Over 150,000 total game plays and a true grassroots community of 5,800+ token holders and 1,800+ NFT collectors; proving real, organic community growth and on-going utility on Base.
Artist-Turned-Developer Execution: The entire ecosystem: 100s of original hand-drawn illustrations and animations, 9 game titles, 3 smart contracts, and the full BizarreBeastes miniapp, was built single-handedly by the founder/artist, who learned the necessary technology to execute the creative vision.
Future-Forward IP: We have a clear and bold vision for scaling this project from original artwork and web3 minigames into a full-scale, art, media, and merch-driven business model, demonstrating the power of onchain funding for IP development.
I am grateful that DCP recognized the potential in our resourceful, artist-led approach to building the BizarreBeasts community and project.
We are immediately putting the $1,000 funding to work, focusing on two critical areas that directly benefit the project's IP expansion and community health:
Enhanced Production Capabilities: The primary use will be for technology investments and supplies necessary to expand our production capabilities for BizarreBeasts artwork and animations.
Direct Community Rewards: A dedicated portion of the funds will be used for Community rewards, recognizing the BIZARRE support and dedication of the BizarreBeasts community, including our core token and NFT holders.
The amplification opportunities through Zora and the TALNT Cast Podcast will ensure this expanded content reaches the widest possible audience.
