BizarreBeasts has officially been awarded a Clanker Ecosystem Fund (CEF) Round 2 Sustainability Grant! Announced last week on @gmfarcaster, this grant is a significant milestone for our ecosystem and represents direct validation from the core builders of the Farcaster and Clanker networks.
The Clanker Ecosystem Fund (CEF) is a targeted developer fund designed to support, reward, and sustain active builders pushing the boundaries of onchain technology. The fund was proposed by Clanker creator, @dish, and is actively stewarded by the @gmfarcaster team, with trust and support from @rish and the Neynar team.
Rather than funding speculative ideas, the CEF is designed to empower active creators. BizarreBeasts was awarded the Sustainability Grant ($1,000 USDC). This category is specifically reserved for covering critical backend infrastructure costs (such as servers, API integrations, and hosting) for projects that make the overall ecosystem better, and in our case, way MORE BIZARRE.
This grant is highly significant for two main reasons:
Direct Ecosystem Alignment: The teams behind this fund are the creators of the social and tech networks that BizarreBeasts is built on. Receiving direct support from our primary technology partners represents a close alignment with the ecosystem, where the platforms supporting BizarreBeasts infrastructure are directly investing in the project's day-to-day success.
Proof of Sustainability: It proves we are building a highly active digital ecosystem that our tech partners want to keep running, growing, and thriving for the long term.
When building a self-sustaining creative studio, every resource matters. This grant is important because it goes directly toward supporting the infrastructure of our three major pillars:
The BizarreBeasts Miniapp: Keeping the BizarreBeasts ($BB) home base operational for our community to interact with daily.
The BIZarcade: Ensuring BizarreBeasts original, hand-illustrated games (12 and growing) continues running smoothly for thousands of players.
The BizarreBeasts Animation Studio: Directly supporting operational costs as for the creation the upcoming BizarreBeasts animated series for streaming on DCP+.
Securing this protocol-level support helps ensure the digital foundation of the BizarreBeasts universe remains strong as we create and expand the business.

I'm the artist, animator, and builder behind BizarreBeasts ($BB), creating a universe where art and web3 technology converge. This is where everything I am intersects: a lifelong artist captivated by darkly humorous outsider art, a creative entrepreneur, a self-taught builder who coded 12 original games and a fully onchain miniapp from scratch, a musician performing original soundtracks, and a true BIZARRE believer in decentralized creativity.

BizarreBeasts is an Arts3 Foundation A3 Startup Award recipient, earning $100K in funding for an original animated series currently in production for release on DCP+, the streaming platform empowering independent creators from Decentralized Pictures.
