Riding on the momentum of Season 2, which once again drew an impressive wave of participants, we are thrilled to kick off Season 3! This time, we have allocated a massive 6 million veBLACK in rebates, ready to be shared among all eligible participants.
The rules for the Escape Velocity Program from Season 3 have been revised. Rebates will exclusively apply to Supermassive locks from this season onwards.
A minimum lock of 2000 veBLACK is required to qualify.
Only Supermassive locks count toward eligibility as long as minimum thresholds are met.
Rebates are capped at 10% of the total pool per wallet, encouraging wider participation and fair distribution.
Rebates will continue to be distributed as Supermassive NFTs airdropped directly to qualifying wallets.
Locks transferred between wallets will credit the rebate to the wallet performing the locking, ensuring fairness.
Another change is that Season 3 will be faster-paced and span 3 weeks with the following start and end dates:
Season 3 start: 2025-10-09 00:00 UTC
Season 3 end: 2025-10-30 12:00 UTC

From the moment of announcement until the season’s close, you can watch progress, seeing exactly which wallets are locking, how much veBLACK they’re committing, and the rebates earned so far.

veBLACK Locked: the total amount of veBLACK held in the wallet
% eligible veBLACK: the percentage of the total eligible veBLACK contributed by this wallet
% Rebate Rewards: the wallet’s share of this Season's total Rebate Rewards
veBLACK Rebate: the current amount of veBLACK Rebate a wallet is eligible for based on current data
Effective Rebate: the rebate rate on the wallet’s eligible veBLACK balance.
veNFT_IDs: the list of all veNFT IDs associated with the eligible wallet
These numbers may change throughout the Season as more veBLACK become eligible to earn a share of this Season's total Rebates pool , whether through creating new locks, extending existing ones, or increasing locked amounts
Season 2 has wrapped up with an outstanding turnout. Participants collectively burned 14,531,233 $BLACK and created an impressive 16,644,865 veBLACK! Every eligible wallet will receive its portion of the Season 2 rebate pool, which totals 10,000,288 veBLACK.
Out of 972 eligible wallets that took part, 287 were brand new wallets, while the remaining 685 were seasoned holders who qualified by either extending or boosting their existing locks. Altogether, participants created 1,366 new locks this season.
Supermassive locks dominated the scene with 1,104 created, compared to 262 Singularity locks. Meanwhile, among existing positions, 860 wallets increased the amount of BLACK they locked, and 19 chose to extend their lock duration.
