To join someone on an adventure is sacred act.
It’s different than accompanying someone in a pre-determined journey, like going for a walk around the block with your neighbor.
DAOs are not walks around the block, they are adventures….
An adventure is something marvelous - and dangerous. It takes you into the unknown where you could be greeted by treasures, or demons.
It is certainly not safe - but a well selected adventure will change your life forever.
If you care about your life yet surrender to the unknown with just anyone is asinine. For just anyone the challenges of an adventure will leave them cracked and drain you from the energy you need to keep going.
If we want to join someone else on an adventure we best make sure that they know where they are going and that they have reckoned with what is at stake.
The bonds that get created on adventures are hard to break, it is best to make sure they are bonds that make us stronger.
We only have time enough for a few adventures and a few people - this makes them sacred.
Let us choose our adventures wisely.
