The Camp Foundation is an independent, non-profit entity dedicated to stewarding the world’s Autonomous IP Layer. We govern and grow the Camp Network, a Layer-1 purpose-built for tokenizing, licensing, and monetizing IP onchain for the AI-native era, so that provenance, licensing, and royalties are enforceable by design.
AI has supercharged creativity, but today’s IP rails weren’t built for a world where models remix, co-produce, and distribute at machine speed. Licensing is fragmented, attribution is murky, and creators are often excluded from the economic upside their work generates.
The Camp Foundation exists to fix that. Our mandate is to align creators, developers, AI researchers, legislators, and global IP holders around shared infrastructure where:
IP can be tokenized with verifiable provenance,
AI models train only on licensed datasets, and
Attribution and royalties flow automatically, transparently, and globally.
We exist to unite creators, legislators, developers, AI researchers, and global IP holders around a shared infrastructure layer that is built for today’s creative reality. Together, we’re aligning on how IP should be created, shared, and rewarded when AI is part of the process from day one.
Within this infrastructure layer:
IP and creativity can be easily tokenized with Camp’s Proof of Provenance Protocol, ensuring origin and authorship are recorded from the start
AI models train only on licensed datasets, so usage is permissioned and accountable
AI and IP can work collaboratively with transparent attribution and monetization, so contributions are visible and value can flow accordingly
These pillars work together to enable fair participation for everyone involved, whether you create, compute, or curate.
Camp Network is a Layer-1 blockchain purpose-built for tokenizing IP. It provides the primitives for:
Proof of Provenance: verifiable creation, authorship, lineage, and remix graphs
Enforceable Licensing: machine-readable licenses that smart contracts can executeAutomated Royalty Flows: programmatic splits across collaborators, rights holders, and contributors
Composable IP: characters, music, data, and stories that can be remixed and reused with attribution intact
The Foundation does not “control” the network. We steward it, prioritizing open standards, credible neutrality, and broad community participation.
Our immediate focus is to establish a governance model where $CAMP holders share the responsibility of advancing the network. That shared responsibility centers on three outcomes: securing provenance, enforcing licensing, and scaling adoption across industries. Governance is how we align day-to-day decisions with these long-term commitments.
The $CAMP token is the utility asset that powers the network and aligns stakeholders around the mission:
Secure & Register IP: Participate in network security, register works, and attest to provenance.
Enforce Licensing & Royalty Flows: Execute machine-readable licenses and programmatic revenue splits across the value chain.
Incentivize Growth & Innovation: Reward contributors who expand the ecosystem like developers, data providers, curators, and creators.
An internet where:
Creative works and datasets carry verifiable origin and rights
AI systems are trained on licensed inputs
New works are born interoperable, economically aligned, and globally discoverable
Creators, collaborators, and rights holders share in the upside automatically.
AI-native IP is inevitable. With Camp, it becomes fair, transparent, and enforceable.
