A few days ago, huyanghe city of the seventh division received letters and visits transferred by the fifth ecological and environmental protection supervision group of the central government. Some residents reported: “the environmental sanitation of yuxiuli community in Tianbei new district is poor, and sundries and garbage are stacked in the basement and corridor, affecting residents’ travel.” After receiving the letters and visits, the staff of the urban management department of huyanghe city of the seventh division and the person in charge of yuxiuli community rushed to the scene to investigate the situation at the first time.

After investigation, the corridors and basements of some buildings in yuxiuli community are stacked with waste materials and garbage, which not only hinders the normal travel of residents, but also blocks the fire access and has potential safety hazards.

On April 3, huyanghe city of the seventh division organized the staff of relevant departments to centrally clean up the aged garbage in the roads, basements and corridors of yuxiuli community. As of April 8, more than 100 vehicles had been cleaned up, covering 66 buildings in the community.

Watching the scene of community cadres sweating and busy, residents praised them one after another. “Now the sundries and garbage stacked in the community have been cleaned up and look much cleaner. I believe that with the joint efforts of all residents and community cadres, the community environment will be better and better!” Chang Yukui, a resident of yuxiuli community, said happily.
