Real events evoke the most unforgettable feelings
“Other people’s festivals, firefighters pass”, the lines in this film let many viewers face up to the work of firefighters and their lives for the first time. As the first large-scale film focusing on the work and life of firefighters in China, “Fire Hero” shows the details of firefighters’ due diligence and fearless progress in front of the audience without reservation. While streaming hot tears, it can’t help but sigh that “firefighters are really the most lovely people in contemporary times”.
Roadshow site
It is precisely because the film is truly moving that the audience can not hide their excitement during the post screening meeting. When the main creators appear, they are eager to ask questions, which makes the starring Du Jiang very moved. An audience asked why director Chen Guohui used to make movies about love and how he thought of making a movie about firefighters this time. Du Jiang said that director Chen Guohui was very moved when he first heard the story, especially when a firefighter said, “we are not afraid of death, just afraid that others don’t know what we did”. At that moment, He decided to shoot the story, and he must shoot it to the best.

Before the shooting of the film, several leading stars went to the fire brigade for a month’s training and ate and lived with firefighters. Therefore, the audience asked Du Jiang what the real firefighters he met were like, Du Jiang said: “The lines and plots in our movies are all true. Firefighters are ordinary people. They are no different from you and me in life. Many firefighters are still very young, post-90s or even post-00s. But when a crisis occurs, they can voluntarily rush to the fire site and protect the safety of our lives and property with their flesh and blood. They are really happy I can’t afford it. “ Finally, Du Jiang also hopes that after watching the film, you can start from the small things in life and pay attention to fire safety.
Raise fire awareness so that firefighters can spend holidays with their families
The short meeting of the main creators will let you know how difficult it is behind the film shooting. Out of the cinema, many viewers spontaneously expressed their views on the film on the Internet. One of the most talked about is “improving fire awareness”: “the film says that firefighters are others who pass the festival. After watching the film, I hope we can pay attention to life fire prevention and improve fire awareness, so that firefighters can also spend the festival with their families.” After filming “Fire Hero”, starring Huang Xiaoming talked about “three cleans, three passes and three extinguishments” everywhere and practiced it in improving fire awareness.
There are also some viewers who are still terrified of the scene of the fire in the film: “watching is like being in a sea of fire and always sweating for the characters in the play.” It is understood that in order to show the real fire fighting scene of firefighters, the director asked to build a real oil tank farm 1:1, and found a real engineer to be responsible for the construction of oil tanks. In addition to the live shooting, the director also really “set fire” on the set to ensure the safety of the actors and let them play their best performance.

The audience also got a better understanding of the group of firefighters through the film: “in the film, there are also firefighters complaining: they wanted to be special forces, but they turned out to be firefighters… But who says that those with water guns are not cooler than those with guns? They also use their lives to protect the safety of people’s lives and property.”
