October was an incredibly busy โ and rewarding โ month. With so many bookings and events, we finally reached break-even in both September and October, and November is already looking strong. At the end of October, we hosted our biggest external event yet: Zero Waste Europeโs three-day global gathering, fully catered for 160 participants. Their high standards pushed us to raise the bar, leading to the completion of our first event stewarding handbook and the coordination of a 12-person volunteer team who worked tirelessly to support an inspiring group of guests. A huge thank-you to our members โ Mathieu, Miriam, Doug, Friedger, Taron, Cรฉdric, Xavier, Leen, Jana, Tomasso, Alain, and Hugo โ for making it all happen! A big thank you also to Zero Waste Europe and all other organisations that trust us to support their event with space and care.
By using our space, you make a meaningful, very welcome contribution to our community. It supports us in being a vibrant and independent community space, working towards shared goals, and enables us to play a part in meeting Brusselsโ need for accessible, shared spaces.๐งก

Our finances are heading in the right direction, and weโre ready to grow. Weโd love to welcome more members and volunteers โ people who feel inspired to help care for and co-manage our shared space, while using it for their own workshops, events, meetings, or projects. This isnโt your typical space: we practice reciprocity and care, keeping things as accessible as possible for those who need it. The best way to get to know us this month is to join our Friday potluck lunches or drop by an event and experience the space for yourself. ๐๐พ

Huge shoutout to member Cedric Sounard for pulling off the first Kids Hackathon at the hub, collaborating and building networks with so many other cities and organisations. Thank you North Star AGI for bringing this to the hub! Watch the recap video here ๐๐พ
We publish all events on thisย calendar. As we build our calendar, we always look for balance and connection โ between the Tech Labโs creative use of technology, the Inner Labโs focus on sharing and belonging, and the Systems Labโs exploration of new ways of organising a society together. Each space feeds the others, bringing diversity, exchange, and cross-pollination into our shared community.
Our events circle around
๐INNER LAB: inner development, connection, rituals and intimate workshops
๐ SYSTEMS LAB: system change, democracy, building a regenerative society & economy
๐คTECH LAB: tech & tooling, coding, software development

Via systemische opstellingen en belichaamde werkvormen verkennen we themaโs als dekolonisatie, genderbalans en het loslaten van een antropocentrisch wereldbeeld om zo te ervaren wat echte wederkerigheid betekent.
