Dear courageous commoners,
Fall is coming. Soon, the trees will let go of their leaves that don’t serve them anymore 🍂. What are you going to let go of this season?
The Commons Hub is also an organism that breathes. People and organizations come and go, events come and go, it’s all good. We embrace cycles. Every event, every person or organisation that makes use of the space leaves a trace, a presence, a contribution and in doing so, contributes to nurture a fertile common soil.
Stewards contribute a lot of time and care to tend to this garden. Next time you step into the Commons Hub (or any common for that matter), we invite you to take a moment to think about the people that steward this space and that made it possible for you to enjoy it today.
Looking for an excuse to come to the hub? Check out the great events happening in October below, or simply swing by any Friday between 12:30-13:30 for our community potluck. Nothing like sharing food to build community.
We started a new working group to organise an “Open Source Village” during FOSDEM, the largest open source conference that attracts more than 8,000 people from all around the world every first weekend of February at ULB. If you’d like to take part in this village, join the discord. More info on https://opensourcevillage.org
We publish all events on this calendar. Feel very welcome to become a member and enjoy priority access for using the space and receive discounts on the events happening at the Commons Hub.
