Veteran Health Insurance Plans to Care for Those Who Served
If you were honorably discharged from the armed forces of the USA you qualify for some level of benefits through the Veterans Administration. What benefits? There are two ways to determine the benefits for which you are eligible.

Two other programs TriCare and CHAMPVA may also provide coverage to eligible families. For those who don’t fit the requirements, ACA Marketplace (Obama Care) plans do not alter a veteran's eligibility for VA benefits.
There are currently some 152 VA medical centers in operation with approximately 1400 outpatient clinics to serve veterans. These facilities are staffed by VA employees and their concern is the health of those who have served this country. There is at least one Medical Center that serves veterans in all 50 states. There are also facilities in Puerto Rico and the Philippines.
Many veteran’s families find that they are ineligible for health benefits through the VA and questions always arise regarding compatibility of VA benefits and ACA Marketplace health plans. There is no conflict between VA and ACA marketplace plans.
VA benefits are provided by a department of the US government and while there are some cooperating pharmacies that are privately owned most of the program is administered by the Department of Veterans Affairs.
