After spending a month in Tokyo, we're back in LA where our third label release with Daniel Allan x Arlo x fkblonde just dropped today. With over 2M streams and counting on our first two releases, we're proud to have helped Daniel cross the 1M monthly listener mark and watch him coming right up on 100k on Instagram.

We've started to open up our funnel for future label releases, having convos with a variety of acts on the Coop Recs roster about moving our relationships beyond crypto and working with them on the traditional music side as well.

This comes in tandem with the first show announcement in Tokyo early next week - kicking off a 5-show event series at CIRCUS Tokyo in April. For those who don't know - Coop will be moving to Tokyo in April, and the event series is at the core of that decision. CIRCUS is known by many to be the hottest electronic club in the country (dare I say the world) and we feel honored to bring out Coop Recs talent for unforgettable events where we're incentivizing fans to share their favorite clips on clip.energy

All and all, the start of this year was a big reset for us. It's no surprise that the sentiment around crypto feels like its at all time lows, and we're using this opportunity to build an even stronger foundation for when the tides inevitably start to turn in 12-18 months from now.

To help mend the storm, Coop took up vlogging in Japan - documenting shows with major artists like Tape B, Hamdi, Salute and Laszewo as they made their way around one of the most appealing countries in the world. This comes with a lot more tweeting in Japanese, tapping into the local electronic scene in the hopes of building a strong core brand around live shows, great music and great events.
