In the my day section I will talk about what I actually did all day and sometime more. So to get started I went to sleep after uploading the Day 0 around 1230 am or so. Just for me to without an alarm wake up 630am. With that being said I was in the studio for 6 total hours today. Also had a Midterm for Music Business and Songwriting. I goto Icon Collective which is an amazing school if you are looking for a Music School to Attend. I am Currently working on an EP for class with 2 other producers, along with an album that for my personal project, and a few other things.
So first I would like to say this day one is not an actual day 1 its me 4 days in actually However its okay i will combine 3 of the days together. With that being said I released a Free NFT already it “sold out” in about 24 hours which is insane to me seeing i have no web3 presence honestly. I also built a Crescendo with Decent im only linking to show i dont really thing the pricing should be where it is i was more so testing it and saved it for later down the line. With that I also minted a few also, Sara Phillips , SLOE JACK , Jon Waltz , London Mars , Grady . All amazing artist with some amazing songs.
So there are a few streaming platforms and I wonder how blockchain could benefit artist in that realm. An idea I have been tossing around in my head is you get 4 playlist. 1 of the NFTs you collected to have a central location. 2 songs that you dont own but you like (however a limit on the amount). 3 a generative playlist based on the artist you hold NFTs for however its is based on other owners and who they own so it bridges fans together along with artist. So Fan 1 owns Artist A and B and Fan 2 owns Artist X and Y , but together they both own Artist G. Fan 1’s Play List would have Artist X and Y because Fan 2 and Fan 1 own the Same NFT and also Have different NFTs. 4 is a random generated Playlist of NFTs that are new that week based on no criteria to hel fans and artist find new taste. This could again build a genre-less society and make a Artist Society.
All in one Package system.
No Code DAO builder so that artist become the organization and build a team around them
Easy access to Developers to build mini projects sort of like FIverr ( could be a thing)
More A&R positions with Music NFT Companies or In House Artist positions.
Artist Roadmaps should be standard in Web3 for Collectors to know more of who they are investing in. ( Its not what you are gonna be doing everyday but soft marks for certain things you would like to do each quarter.)
So the daily task are easiest when I do not have class however they have been done. I will be building a roadmap of my own to walk the walk of the standards I want. just have to map it out for sure. I will end these with a question.
What makes you different from the Web2 Artist that will set you further ahead in Web3?
