If you’re overthinking, write; if you’re underthinking, read ~anonymousWe at Cerebral Gaming are ecstatic after learning yesterday, February 2nd, that we will be receiving a grant from the Harmony Foundation for $50,000! (Source)These grants are not just paid with checks written out for $50k, to the teams who receive them. There is hard work, attentiveness, and dedication that must go into earning these funds. Projects must show they’re making progress in building on the Harmony Blockchain.
Form a DAO with 5 out of 9 multisig wallet — $10,000 (Voting has begun on the final 3 community governor positions)
Release of roadmap and first DAO proposal with at least 100 token holders — $10,000
Full PR and marketing campaign (including micro-influencers, social media, and traditional media marketing) — $10,000
Reaching 5 votes on DAO proposals/investment avenues and 1000 token holders — $10,000
Our aspiration with the Harmony community is full transparency. We want to set the precedent on how teams communicate with their members on all fronts, including money. With that being said, I would like to lay out plans for how this grant money will be spent.
$5,000 — Building an automated website that displays all assets held by the treasury, including up-to-date price data.
$15,000 — I would like to take a portion of the grant money to pay governors for the work they will be doing to spread our reach and ensure our funds remain safe. I will personally not be receiving any of these funds as lead governor. This amount will be paid out over the course of 6 months. That gives each governor roughly $312.50 a month.
$20,000 — Our team plans to take an EXTREMELY aggressive approach to marketing. We would like to use influencers in the Harmony community, traditional and crypto-related blogs, and partnerships with other projects that will help propel our exposure to the market.
$10,000 — Used in our very first DAO proposal, directly after launch. More info to come on this!
