This week I’m featuring an artist in my Nifty Gateway storefront for a long overdue drop - WIFEs! This is an animated illustration collection by Melon Blossom highlighting Wives - those people through history who tirelessly support the others, have been working so hard yet go unnoticed. Through these 12 works, the aim is to bring recognition and deliver a powerful message of empowerment to the behind-the-scenes heroes.

About the Artist:

MelonBlossom is the AKA of Thai artist Blossom Namsom Law. She began her artistic career at the age of 17 and worked as both an artist and writer in Bangkok for a decade. After marrying, Blossom relocated to Houston, USA where she dedicated herself to being a full-time mother.

Presently, Blossom remains active in creating art, using both traditional and digital mediums, with an emphasis on advocating for mental health and empowering women.

Over the last week I minted 3 new works on SuperRare: Overload, Sweet Nothing, and Zero.

Overload - part of the Vintage Glitch series - featured below was purchased at auction for .5 $eth by Antagonist4ever.

Sweet Nothing - also part of the Vintage Glitch Series - is available with a .420 $eth reserve.

Zero is a newer different animation style I am calling Neon Noir. It utilizes some of the same base processes as vintage glitch, but with a twist of wanting to capture the essence of glitching neon lights mixed noir imagery. This piece is available with .69 $eth reserve
