ENS supports ERC-8004 for AI agents
The rise of AI agents as primary users of the internet presents a unique challenge and opportunity. There is a real possibility to not only build a new financial system, but also a new identity system based on Ethereum's values of openness and self-sovereignty. ERC-8122, ENSIP-25New standards are converging around this assumption: identity is shared infrastructure.
Trust frameworks (ERC-8004), payment rails (x402), and agent registries can evolve independently, but they all rely on being able to consistently refer to the same agent over time.
