Our news (reporter Wang Jia) on April 16, the return module of Shenzhou 13 manned spacecraft successfully landed at the Dongfeng landing site.
The Fourth Academy of Aerospace Science and technology undertook the research and production tasks of all power units of the rocket escape and life-saving system known as the “Tower of life” of astronauts and a full set of structural sealing system of Shenzhou spacecraft during the launch. They were applied to the rocket and spacecraft systems respectively to escort the construction of the space station in the whole process.
The three astronauts carried out extravehicular activities, extravehicular operations, space experiments and tests, and lived in space for six months. The astronauts’ extravehicular spacesuit, carbon dioxide absorbent disk and “space toilet” components developed by 42 Institute of the Fourth Academy of Aerospace Science and technology have played an important role in the space station mission. The products developed by the Fourth Academy of Aerospace Science and technology involve the four systems of “ship, station, service and crew” of the space station. The whole process service ensures the construction of the space station, provides safety and life guarantee for astronauts working and living in the station for a long time, and enables astronauts stationed in the “space home” to work and patrol the sky at ease.
