Billiard Crypto launches its new P2E game on Binance Smart Chain
MetaMask has launched its SDK on the Unity Asset Store, allowing game developers to integrate its wallet into their games
HyperPlay game aggregator alpha launched, allowing users to link their Web3 wallets to various games through MetaMask
GameFi picks up steam as it looks to go mainstream, with PRIME, HyperPlay and Undead Blocks debuting last week
Hi Ethbits,
As we could see, blockchain is gradually becoming a mainstream concept, adopted by the public and no longer limited to a fervent group of players or participants. The mass integration of blockchain in traditional gaming is picking up its pace as most studios begin to sense the immense opportunities and potential in Web3, and want to get ahead of the game (pun intended) before chances run out.

Of course, as a new entrant in the Web3 space, especially for traditional game developers, there are many obstacles and technical issues to overcome. Unity, one of the most popular game engines in the Web2 space, has launched a “decentralization” category in its Asset Store that contains different Web3 tools and protocols that developers can integrate into their games. With this type of solution, developers can focus on building experiences instead of solving technical issues that arise when implementing blockchain into games. As we have mentioned last week, Web3 games are transitioning to a phase where gamer experience is prioritized; therefore, it is especially important now that developers should divert their efforts into optimizing gameplay mechanics, visual effects and such. Additionally, from the move with HyperPlay, it is apparent that the Web3 game industry is not contented with the current logistics and safety mechanism, but instead craves for a system that eliminates the need of switching windows, minimizing their games or changing wallet addresses in order to complete transactions or other actions.

Similar to the aforementioned service providers, we at ETH.GAME also offer a holistic integration tool that assists Web2 gaming studios in their transition to Web3. Our SDK package is a one-stop solution that provides an entry point to the Web3 gaming ecosystem, and includes functionalities such as blockchain integration, multiple log-in methods (MPC, custodial wallet and decentralized wallet) and game DID system, etc. By simply installing our SDK package, gaming studios can easily overcome the technical issues that arise on their transformation to Web3, and instead utilize their time and attention on the most important stuff: the game itself.
