MyShell aims to create a decentralized and open AI ecosystem on its platform, allowing anyone to create, share, and trade AI models they have trained. Essentially, MyShell seeks to empower both ordinary users and developers to easily create their own AI models and interact with others through these agents, providing services or sharing ideas. This ultimately creates a liquid AI model marketplace that stimulates creativity.
Web3 AI newcomer MyShell announced its Token Generation Event (TGE) and saw over 50,000 BNB in subscriptions during the public offering phase. Shortly thereafter, the project oversubscribed by nearly 150,000 BNB, exceeding the planned public offering amount by 10,000%. This surge in participation propelled MyShell to the top of trending searches.
Comprehensive Modular Tools
MyShell's platform already has a wide range of modular tools, such as LLM modules (large language models), TTS modules (text-to-speech), and Google search modules. Creators can use these modules to unleash their creativity in training their AI models.
Low-Code/No-Code Workflow
Considering that most people lack programming experience, the platform has implemented a low-code/no-code workflow. Developers can select different widgets and modules, and create their models through drag-and-drop assembly, without needing to write complex code. This significantly lowers the barrier to AI model creation, allowing ordinary users to participate.
Decentralized Marketplace (AIpp Store)
The platform's economic model and model trading are conducted through the decentralized marketplace (AIpp Store). All AI models created by creators are uploaded to the blockchain via the AIpp Store.
Modular AI Integration
MyShell also provides API integration support for mainstream AI models in the market, such as DeepSeek R1 & V3, and ChatGPT 3.5 & 4.0. Creators can integrate these AI tools into their models without starting from scratch, significantly improving construction efficiency.
Creator Economy:
Points Incentives: Creators earn points when their AI models attract user interaction. These points can be exchanged for various services on the platform, such as enhanced chat features or optimized ad display.
Revenue Returns: Creators can sell their AI models directly on the AIpp market, earning SHELL tokens. Additionally, they can benefit from token appreciation or trading in the market.
Sponsor Economy:
Sponsors are users who support and invest in promising AI agents. They purchase AIpp agents and profit from market price fluctuations. Besides enjoying the appreciation of AIpp, sponsors can also earn points based on their investment and trading activities in the AIpp market.
MyShell has completed nearly $100 million in financing, backed by renowned venture capital firms such as Dragonfly, OKX Ventures, GSR, Maven11, Nomad Capital, Animoca Brands, Delphi Digital, Bankless Ventures, Nascent, and Foresight Ventures. The project also received a boost of around 50,000 BNB during the TGE public offering.
Currently, AI projects in the crypto space can be broadly categorized into two types: AI tool development and AI economic mechanism design. Clearly, projects involving economic mechanism design hold a greater advantage, as rule-setting projects have higher strategic value, while tool development is more about execution. MyShell falls into the latter category, focusing on AI economic mechanism design.
In this domain, MyShell's potential is evidently greater than that of mere tool development projects. Additionally, its strong compatibility allows it to adapt to the evolving needs of the AI era, providing significant room for expansion for projects in the same track. This is a major advantage of economic mechanism design projects.
From a technical implementation standpoint, I personally tested various APIs of MyShell and found the overall user experience to be quite satisfactory. In terms of market enthusiasm and capital attraction, the project's ability to draw in 50,000 BNB demonstrates its powerful fundraising capability.
