Zora is a platform where you can mint NFTs on the Ethereum network.
They could be launching a Layer 2 in the future, and here’s how you can interact with their testnet platform to potentially get an airdrop.
Get Goerli ETH
Check out my videos here and here on some of the methods I use to get gETH.
Create an NFT collection
You can choose any option, and I chose to create an Edition.
Select options for your Edition
You can upload an image, enter some details, and you will be able to create your collection.
You will require Goerli ETH to process your transaction.
Once you’re done, do share your NFT mint page with me on my Telegram channel. You can mint my NFT collection here too.
Bridge your funds to Zora L2 (Testnet)
You will require some Goerli ETH for the transaction too.
Mint Zora’s PURE INTERNET NFT on the Ethereum mainnet
If you want to mint multiple NFTs on the Ethereum mainnet, I recommend minting it on mint.fun with a funpass, which could give you a gas refund if you mint NFTs consecutively on their platform.
Bridge funds to Mainnet
You will need to bridge your ETH from the mainnet to this new L2,
and I spent about $1.32 when the gas price was low.
I would suggest minting a larger some of funds e.g. $20 USD worth of ETH, as the gas fees on Zora can be high.
Mint the Energy NFT (ends ~ 8 July)
Gas on this network is still quite expensive, and I spent ~ $1.84 in ETH for this mint.
