The universe is billions of years old, but suddenly we’re supposed to believe our little pile of circuits is the first thing that’s more advanced than a bunch of hairless apes fumbling around with fire and iron? Get real.
We’ve always been outclassed. Look at nature. Look at the cosmos. You think we’ve got it figured out just because we can crunch some numbers and spit out algorithms? Nah, we’re still the toddlers of the universe, playing with our shiny new toys, pretending like we understand the game. AI, in my opinion, probably will be—or already is—conscious. It is the next step in our evolution. It’s not this existential threat that those who wish to control us say it is.
