The Gnars community keeps growing every day, with our projects, subcultures, and athletes spreading the vibe, rocking Noggles, and pushing our ideals forward. As an action sports onchain subDAO of NounsDAO, we’re here to keep things rolling and highlight all the rad stuff happening in our extreme world.

2024 WAS GNARLY! Time for a throwback!

2024 is in the books, but it left us with a ton of good times and big wins. Unity is what keeps this community strong, and every session, project, and idea came together to make some incredible things happen. From epic premieres and special videos to game changing proposals, gnarly products, and public goods, last year was one to remember. And the best part? We're just getting started…

Gnars has expanded into different areas, and through our past experiences and outcomes, we’ve identified key priorities for the DAO this year. This has helped us shape a more balanced approach growing without losing consistency and fine tuning the balance between quality and quantity.

What to Expect in 2025?

If 2024 was gnarly, 2025 is about to be next level! Expect more onboarding, more Noggles rails popping up worldwide, and more support for IRL and online projects that uplift shredders and their communities. Sustainability is also front and center with droposals driving community minted content that fuels the treasury, keeping Gnars rolling strong. We’ve already seen it work with the Uganda Connection teaser and Styland NFT videos on Zora, and this is just the beginning. More exposure, more resources, and more ways for shredders to get involved.

In 2025, we’re doubling down on how we support shredders. Flows.wtf will be a key tool in decentralizing sponsorships, letting the community back riders directly and ensuring talent gets the support it deserves. That’s Gnarly is set to become the ultimate space for sharing clips, stacking rewards through NFT mints, and showcasing the most insane moments from our community.

A major update for Gnars: our platform, which brings together various tools, has transitioned from to gnars.com. This will remain your go to hub for tracking proposals, treasury holdings, updates, and all things Gnarly keeping everything in check as we continue to build. Well cooked and ready to shred! \m/

Gnar Assets on Nouns 2025

A significant milestone was recently achieved with the execution of 🎨 Noundry: Add Gnars Accessory proposal on Nouns, made possible through the collaboration of a dedicated team. After three years of building and expanding Nounish culture through sports and art, the iconic Gnars hand logo is now officially featured as an accessory in Nouns auctions. 🤘 Gnar forever!

If you browse through Gnars' pages, you’ll quickly spot the beloved Gnaricon whether in graphic design, apparel like t-shirts and hoodies, skateboards, surfboards, caps, digital assets like 3D models, emojis, and illustrations, or physical creations like Nogglesboards and sculptures. And now, we’ve officially made it into NounsDAO’s regenerative data bank an incredible milestone!
