The fixed asset investment of Expressway in the region will not be less than 180 billion yuan, and the total mileage of expressway will exceed 8000 kilometers. It is planned to start a number of expressway projects such as Longsheng Dongzhong highway (Longsheng Rong’an section), with a mileage of more than 2000 kilometers; Continue to build Shanglin Hengzhou highway phase I and other projects, and strive to build Guilin Qinzhou Port highway (Nanning Liujing Binyang section) and other projects, with a mileage of more than 800 kilometers. Fully realize the county-level expressway, and end the history of no Expressway in Tiane, Xilin and Cangwu counties.
According to statistics, in 2021, the investment in the construction of Expressway in Guangxi was 161.6 billion yuan, with a new traffic mileage of 538 kilometers, a total mileage of 7339 kilometers, and the proportion of county to county Expressway reached 97.3%. The completed investment of Expressway accounts for 65% of the completed investment of transportation fixed assets in the whole region. The project investment, construction scale and traffic mileage are the highest in the history of expressway construction in Guangxi.

Pingnan Expressway starts from Sitang hub of Bama Pingguo section of Tiane Beihai highway, passes through Pingguo city of Baise City, Wuming District, Long’an county and XiXiangTang District of Nanning City, and finally connects Shibu North hub of Guangzhou Kunming Expressway and Nanning ring expressway. The main line of the line is 85.09 kilometers long, with two-way six lanes and a design speed of 120 kilometers per hour. After the completion of the project, it will effectively divert the traffic flow from Pingguo to Nanning of Nanbai expressway, which is of great significance to promote the construction of a new land and sea channel in the west, help promote the strategy of strengthening the capital and implement the strategy of Rural Revitalization.
On the morning of February 24, with the last T-beam of Jinkeng No. 2 Bridge accurately falling at the predetermined position, the project Department of Lot 2 of Liubin Expressway in Guangxi successfully completed all beam erection tasks and successfully realized the double track connection of the bid section. Liubin Expressway started construction on August 30, 2019. It is an important section of “Zong 7” Guilin Qinzhou Port Expressway in the expressway network layout plan of Guangxi expressway network planning (2018-2030). It is also a new main channel for Guangxi to go to sea.
