"2024 was a year of discovery, resilience, and incredible community collaboration. As we step into 2025, I’m reminded of why we started Hand Protocol: to amplify the power of grassroots movements and create a space where positive change thrives. Thank you for your belief in this mission and for standing with us every step of the way. This year, let’s continue building a future where giving becomes second nature and change feels possible. Together, we are unstoppable!"

Giveth Quadratic Funding Round: Raised $6,000+ for 4 projects, including Hand Protocol, Music Onboarding Machine, Lost Children Project, and Laboso Caring Foundation.
Gitcoin Quadratic Funding Round: Supported 2 internal projects and a few public projects—BloomersTV and Kirr0yal—raising $2,292.31 collectively.
These numbers reflect the power of community-driven fundraising through innovative Web3 platforms, showcasing the potential for positive change.
In 2024, Hand Protocol had the privilege of participating in the Commons Protocol, an inspiring experiment in funding the builders of public goods. This initiative, which provides daily claims of $COMMONS tokens to qualified participants, has opened new pathways for supporting essential work in the commons.
Through this collaboration, Hand Protocol projects and users contributed to and benefited from this shared ecosystem. From grassroots builders finding sustainable support for their initiatives to fostering connections across communities, the Commons Protocol has been a testament to what decentralized funding experiments can achieve.
This journey is about more than tokens—it’s about nurturing a culture of giving, collaboration, and mutual growth. As we step into 2025, we carry forward the lessons and relationships built through this partnership, proving that together, we can turn bold experiments into transformative change.
GreenPill x Hand Protocol: A Conversation with KoH.
On December 20, 2024, we wrapped up the year with an inspiring GreenPill Monthly Space, featuring KoH, founder of Hand Protocol and a key member of the GreenPill community. KoH shared his journey, the vision behind Hand Protocol, and his dedication to supporting regenerative builders through impactful projects like The Lost Children Project, Music Onboarding Machine, and Forest Fire Rehabilitation. The conversation highlighted the importance of empowering public goods builders and fostering sustainability in our ecosystem. If you missed it, you can catch the recording and reflect on this meaningful discussion as we gear up for 2025!
Looking Ahead to ETHDenver.
ETHDenver is just around the corner, and we have incredible plans! Hand Protocol is collaborating with GreenPill to explore guerrilla regeneracy initiatives in Denver prior to the main event. While plans are still being finalized, this promises to be an exciting opportunity to connect with the community and share our vision for sustainable impact in Web3.

Progress on the Hand Protocol App.
Sweet Spot: A Playground for Regenerative Giving.
Sweet Spot is an engaging Web3 app designed to make regenerative giving easy, fun, and accessible. Users are given "seed tokens" to explore the impact of micro-donations, showcasing how small contributions can lead to significant change. The app’s gamified features—like milestones, leaderboards, and badges—make giving a rewarding experience while fostering a deeper connection with the regenerative ecosystem.
Key Updates:
Claiming and Allocating Functions Deployed: Sweet Spot is live on the Celo blockchain, allowing users to allocate funds responsibly within donation rounds.
UX and UI Progress: With most design elements completed, we’re connecting the final dots to provide a seamless user experience.
Sweet Spot is poised to bridge the gap between Web3 innovation and impactful giving, making decentralized generosity both transparent and transformative.
Project Lead: Existential Zoomer
The team is focused on editing footage collected during border visits and recording voiceovers to narrate survivors’ powerful stories. A screening is planned for Q1 2025, highlighting critical issues and sparking meaningful conversations on child trafficking.
Project Lead: Jose
After receiving Giveth funds, Jose spent two weeks in the Amazon rainforest, connecting with local musicians and recording unique environmental sounds. These recordings will be incorporated into music projects designed for children in the community, celebrating their native language and cultural heritage.
Project Leads: Ivan & Carmen
Vida Verde is building its headquarters using sustainable architecture to serve as a hub for regenerative practices. Construction is well underway, blending environmental consciousness with practical innovation.
Forest Fire Rehabilitation.
Project Lead: Sharmaji
Sharmaji’s project emphasizes corridor conservation to sustain tiger habitats and enhance biodiversity. By studying and connecting natural corridors, this initiative protects wildlife while bolstering ecosystem health.
BloomersTV.
Project Lead: Deven Rathod
Hand Protocol's lead dev, Deven Rathod, is spearheading BloomersTV, an open-source, decentralized live-streaming platform built on the Lens Protocol. Key features include real-time moderation, super chat functionality, and content management tools. With its creator-first approach, BloomersTV exemplifies innovation in decentralized media.
This year has been filled with remarkable milestones and collaborations. Hand Protocol was highlighted in GreenPill spaces, celebrating its mission and vision. We’ve also been collaborating with Growk AI, Treegens Network AI, and enjoying the vibrant community of Infinite Regens AI, which recently released Backrooms, with TMO striving to tokenize AI agents and fund natural assets at the same time. These efforts, alongside Esitus’s initiative to tokenize agents that fund natural assets, showcase the innovative ways we’re driving regenerative impact.
Exciting news from the GIVbacks raffle: one of our generous donors won 2nd place, earning a remarkable 114,899 $GIV (approximately $700)!
