The root cause of everything is the thought from which all other threads arise. This thought, and the whole world of thought as purely spiritual factors, will now be displayed before your eyes as a magnificent panorama, where you can obtain a strictly spiritual overview of the whole creation, of all that was and all that will be. For without thought, no spiritual realm would arise or be created, and neither would the material world. Indeed, if I wanted to present My essence to you in a spiritual sense, I would have to do it in connection with the idea of infinity. For this thought alone fully characterizes My Self, which is infinite in time, space and power! If you want to imagine the ancient times, when no star had yet shone in the firmament, when no sun had yet revolved around another, when even the spiritual world had not yet been created, that was the very time when it dwelt, shone and existed alone My thought, only Me! All around Me was dark, dead and motionless; only I was alive. As a living, eternal Thought, I alone shone in the entire creation, or rather, I alone was aware of existence and being, and only this thought - life, and life - light, as the cause of life, was present in it. You see, there the world existed from only one Being, One Thought in the infinite ether with all its dormant elements reflected in its indwelling center - in My Self - quickened and existing. Only I knew there: I AM, I LIVE. And if you want to understand this state at least to the smallest extent, compare it with yours, where you too stand right in the middle of My creation with the awareness that you are a complete whole and where everyone is aware of what it should mean: I am, I live. You say, "I am," and yet thousands and thousands of processes are going on inside you without your being aware of it. You call out, "I am!", and the spiritual garment of your soul, extending to the last capillary nerve ending of your skin, embraces your whole self, without you being aware of the stretching or embracing of the human body. This is how My Self is and once was. I was alive, My whole being embraced the infinite ether, and only a stimulus from within was needed to start this very vast, infinite true side of My Self into energizing activity!
