# Hyperliquid Community Hackathon *Building the Future of Finance* By [Hyperliquid Community Hackathon](https://paragraph.com/@hl-hackathon) · 2025-07-16 --- We’re excited to announce the **Hyperliquid Community Hackathon** — a community organized, 4-week global online event with the core mission of **growing the ecosystem to house all of finance.** Whether you’re a developer, designer, researcher, artist, community organizer, or general contributor, we invite you all to be part of the future. The Theme: Growing the ecosystem -------------------------------- At its core, this hackathon is about building for the good of the ecosystem. Hyperliquid is for the people, so we collectively shape its future. This hackathon is for projects that are open, composable, and useful to everyone. From tooling and infrastructure to docs, content, or coordination mechanisms, the goal is to grow the pie. The hackathon features **three tracks**: 1. 🛠 **Public goods:** Tools, libraries, and infrastructure that benefit the entire Hyperliquid community. 2. 🚀 **Hyperliquid Frontier:** Novel applications, extending existing protocols, and community building that grows the Hyperliquid ecosystem. 3. 🧪 **Precompile + CoreWriter Exploration:** Experiment with precompiles and corewriter and push the boundaries of what’s possible on Hyperliquid. In addition to the main tracks, sponsors will be offering **bounties,** additional tasks and challenges with their own prize pools. More details will be announced. Key Details ----------- The hackathon officially kicks off on **July 28th** and will be hosted on [TaiKai](https://taikai.network/). Once live, you’ll be able to register your team, submit projects, and use TaiKai’s matchmaking feature to find and connect with other builders. We’ll start things off with a **Kickoff Call** on **July 28** where we’ll walk through the hackathon format, tracks, prizes, and how to get started.
