If you’ve been following our channels, you’ve heard an awful lot about our Arena Genesis NFTs lately. But you know what else is emerging from the Fog right now? Launchpads. We’ve had a few already and we have quite a few more scheduled for the weeks ahead. Let’s dive into what that means for the project and for our magical $WZRD token.
Some might be labeled “FlashLaunch” or “IGO” but, fundamentally, it’s a pre-sale of our Wizardia tokens. It’s an opportunity for investors and early supporters of the project to secure some of our $WZRD tokens now and, of course, at very favourable prices. (More on why the tokens will be useful later, but let’s just say that they’re the core utility token and in-game currency of the Wizardia game and its future metaverse.)
If you don’t already have it in your calendar: the next three weeks are the time to buy as an early investor. One thing to note in there: IEO listing is on March 24 on Gate.io.

As ever, we’ll post a step-by-step guide on how you can participate here on our Medium too. Each Launchpad has its own rules about exactly how you can join the sales, but we’ll let you know at least a few days beforehand if you need to get whitelisted if the platform gives preferential access based on token staking, etc.
Why are we releasing our tokens staggered out across all of these different Launchpads? It’s important for us to reach a wide variety of interested investors and to make sure everyone who’s interested gets a bite of the apple. It’s important to note that there is a token vesting schedule, to provide security to early investors as well as ensuring price stability after the TGE, as explained below:
The key point from our perspective is that we’re building an awesome game and these tokens (as well as our beautiful NFTs) are at the very heart of its crypto economy. A total of 300 million tokens will be minted cross-chain on the Solana network (SOL) and Binance Smart Chain ($BSC). As of April 5th 2022, 7,740,000 WZRD are distributed and circulating in the market. Around the time of our TGE, we’ll launch a staking system on our website, offering generous rewards for token holders who wish to hold onto their $WZRD.
Of course, some will keep hold of $WZRD tokens as an investment in our project’s future. But it’s also important to get an idea of how they’ll practically contribute to our game economy, flowing between in-game institutions and back and forth among players. We’re not giving away everything all at once, but so far we’ve been part of three Launchpads as part of our Private and Community rounds. And our February 26th IGO with MetaLaunch was wrapped up in a matter of hours.
