We all have that one genre of game that we enjoy playing, on phone, PC, console, tablet, etc. However, understanding the concept behind all this is a world of mischief that lures you, the player in, consuming all focus, leaving you wanting more.
Compare the world of television produced in the old days, where one scene would last a few minutes. Today, over 120 scenes in a movie, perfectly placed objects, use of words, gestures, product placements, sexualized shots, etc. along with the celebrity addiction that follows each cast member. This all creates a much more disturbing effect than realized, as ultimately role models for the youth.
Human beings are all copycats – in some way or another, we copy what someone else does. We see music-videos, series, movies, and cartoons on television. Any form of screen media is a source of mimicking how to dress, behave, act and speak. When we see something on a screen, it becomes familiar.
It is human nature to get what one does not have — the experimental result: mass propaganda. Mind control and propaganda have been perfected to the point of plugging into the minds of billions to make it light up in response to the information on the screen. In essence, mind control talks to our subconscious mind to spark emotions through words and images. Sadly, not all of it is positive nor beneficial to the human race. It is a beautiful tale. We are all just puppets, repeating a tune that we have all heard somewhere before. Some jokes and banter we crack with friends — there is a reference to a scene or video seen before. When a person is happy, joyous, they sing out songs that express good vibrations.
In the neocortex, our conscious brain converts what the limbic (mammalian brain) feels, etc. At times, it is uncontrollable to burst out singing when one is happy. We have a voice box to express, exchange our emotions, desires, fears, and goals, thereby ensuring our survival in a world of so many. The mind always needs to attend to something — it is the innate desire to seek, learn or create. Most people find it hard to sit down and meditate for a long time. Yet it is the purest form of human existence: The ability to still a river of thought. Now, for us all to meditate simultaneously is a an even bigger undertaking, yet collective thinking has an explosive power that shifts energy into miracles. We are more astounding than we care to believe.
Many more people can live a joyful and abundant life. The secret is unplugging from certain digital pleasures for a higher quality reality. Time is the one thing that we have control over because each and every single one of us makes our own time. Every day, the gift of another 960 minutes is yours to spend as you choose – how best can we spend these thousand minutes each day? A reality show, TV series, news channel, social media app and video gaming are all time-thieves. None of these things makes Life better. They create the illusion of what Life is/can be. The drama, the fighting, the politics, the fears, the hate – nothing about that is adding actual value to Life.
We live in the age of consumerism, which is as damaging as cancer is to a cell. It is unnecessary and bewildering. We create, manufacture, distribute and absorb so many harmful things and throw away about 40% of it. Why do we build huge industries that pollute and desecrate? Why is war considered normal? Most of all, why is it that everything we ever needed is in existence? We knuckle down to a system instilled since birth — a system that has been in place for centuries. We have been here so long that we are at the epitome of existence. We have no real direction, and many turn away from faith and engage in hedonism and nihilism.
It takes a lot to grasp the extent of this betrayal in our lives. The sad thing is that it is all for one reason — profit. Yes, a piece of paper. Essentially, our energy comes from the Sun, it has given life to plants and creatures for millions of years, and they respond to his call. Planet Earth is perfectly distant and aligned from the Sun to provide all the right components that sustain life.
Our entire lives are based around a single benefactor — Abstract Consciousness. We should have no other purpose than to live, breathe and survive if we were evolutionary mammals on Earth. Why commit time to work 160 – 200 hours a month, pay rent, buy nice things, and exist as a simulated product? Who in the universe said that we have to tune our lives into weeks, months, and years when in essence, is it purely one day after the next? A timeline trajectory rather than a constant time loop. Neither the past nor the future truly exists. Our species fashioned it through paintings, photographs, writings, film, drawings, etc. - all holding memories outside of ourselves. That is what we have done all this time - created.
Can we learn from the past and forge a brighter future, or instead linger on the history and sacrifice the future? The world would be pretty different if we made the necessary changes now and planned to look forward to the coming years. What if that were possible? What if we got past all the bullshit in one single moment and lived in complete harmony with every other being in this expansive home? What if we shut down the matrix in honor of unity? Nowadays, there is no excitement for the future. Everywhere you look, it’s a morbid picture being painted. And quite possibly, there will be an ending of the world as we know it…or is there?
Dread is the highest form of population control — the single most detrimental thing to any human being on this planet. It is learned and habituated to the point of crippling the host beyond positive action, only torment. People who have a phobia will understand this. When we fear something, our entire mind and body respond undesirably. It is the same when we love something — it is a chemical response. The mind itself is a powerful emitter of energy. Sadly, it is also easily hacked, packed, and stacked, just like a hard drive, making us a formidable source of memory power banks. It is the Catch-22 of being human. The bottom line: the more we live in Simulated Reality, the more it directs our way of being. Each moment spent is an exchange for our precious freedom. Everything that we are has been carefully studied, manipulated, and re-worked. In essence, the screens have trained us to think, do, and believe in a certain way.
Is the hype on ‘cybersecurity news’ an accident? Need software X to protect from hacker A-Z, restrict online activity, etc. We are eight billion people, yet fear our data is being mishandled. This explosion of encrypted data programs is a spiced-up farce that creates another fear. It has already been used, sold, and recycled - too late to worry about that... But here’s the ultimate solution: De-centralize.
Certain countries have always had an enemy (read: fashioned fear) to save (invade) another country. Congress requires unified polls and a vote to go to war. There needs to be an excellent reason why every member of Congress and citizen should vote in favor of going to war. The reason for the war in Vietnam was that the enemy attacked first. The retribution after the bombing of Pearl Harbor was the same: the enemy struck first. The war in Iraq was started because the terrorists attacked ‘Home’ first. Cha-ching! Congress passes the vote, soldiers are shipped over, creating devastation in their wake, death and economic ruin follow – but hey, key government and high-stake players make trillions in profit.
For decades, media and propaganda effectively forced emotional responses from the people. Let’s not get started on the gun culture in America. There is no reason to carry a gun around in the twenty-first century. Those who think it necessary fear being attacked or killed - the effect of a ‘created’ fear.
To end the matrix is to start something completely new - a neo-existence. And to do that, one has to remove the fears that have been instilled most of our lives.
Let’s elaborate on Fear:
“Fear is an unpleasant, often strong emotion caused by anticipation or awareness of danger. Whether it is a real or imagined threat, the response in the mind is the same.”
Source: Definition of Fear: Merriam-Webster
“There is no illusion greater than fear.” - Lao Tzu,
“Fears are nothing more than a state of mind.” - Napoleon Hill
Read that again.
Fear, in itself, is an idea or a concept that we may have learnt as a child, and it holds real value to the mind. Fears are scary, uncomfortable, and can be life-crippling cages. Horror and terror are the two most extreme versions of this emotion. A guess as to why the flood of horror movies hit the screens over the past decade? Is it strange that the whole concept of ‘terrorism’ has sprouted out of thin air into an enormous dramatic storybook?
Dan Brown said it best: ‘What we do not understand, we fear.’
Secret sauce: Learn more about one’s fears. When the intellect cannot comprehend something and the mind refuses to learn about it, the person will destroy it or stay entirely away. The body will have a chemical response to that thing. Whether it is a culture, race, heights, spiders, aliens, a neighbor, the mind works the same. Once something is understood (to seek knowledge about), the mind accepts it as safe and is no longer a threat. Learning opens doors for acceptance, conquering any fear.
For many years, Russia has been the villain in Hollywood movies. Since the 2001 terrorist scheme, the Arabs, Iraqi, and Afghans have become the villains of big-budget studios. After all, mass fears must be kept relative to the times. This topic is extensive, and it would be beneficial to research the differences between real-fear and made-up fear.
There is a power that can fight any fear: simply, Love. It is the only thing that can overcome fear. The fear disappears when turning towards anxiety or phobia, facing it, and accepting it fully with love and understanding. We can all use this process because our brain can mold and reshape itself through new experiences and filters. Identify a fear and seek the right resources to get it removed and replaced; it can and will change life for the better. There is no limit once personal freedom is taken back.
When something is feared within the mind, it creates resistance in a person’s reality that transmutes into trauma, limiting beliefs and behaviours, doing everything possible to avoid that trigger.
We all have a fear or two, and they are necessary faux pas ignited when some event in your past struck the flight/fight response in the mammalian brain and ensured your survival by creating a conditioned response (that has no relevance to you now). The reality is that many of the fears in this day and age have been curated behind closed doors, and released for millions to consume, through the most accessible item to any person - a mobile phone - it is all one needs to be sailing through a fear-fueled existence.
Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP)
Virtual-Reality Therapy, (VRT)
Hypnosis,
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, (CBT)
Among others - are effective ways to overcome specific fears. To work on yourself is the hardest yet most rewarding things you will do, as it benefits yourself and the world. I believe that most problems in life stem from the chains of fears. Before going to a life-coach to figure out your life, remove fears first and life will be a lot easier to plan and navigate.
