As you may be aware, Bright Moments, a pioneering digital and physical gallery that has traveled worldwide, recently concluded in Venice, Italy. Renowned for pioneering in-person minting experiences, it played a crucial role in connecting art enthusiasts from around the globe. Most notably, Bright Moments became a celebrated venue for extraordinary digital artworks, including coded and AI-driven art.
In today's market analysis, we'll go through:
A notion spreadsheet with all the artists, collections, and stats (volume, floors, supply, URLs) organized by categories, art type, cities, and more.
Bright Moments accomplishments in numbers.
Most acclaimed collections according to the numbers.
My personal favorites (it was extremely difficult to come up with a short list!).

Before getting into it, here are a few reminders:
This isn't financial advice. Always do your own research.
I own some of the NFTs in this list.
If this is your first time looking at one of my market analyses, I suggest you read this first.

*The data was taken from OpenSea, Foundation, Highlight, fxhash, and Art Blocks, but there might be slight discrepancies with real values.
Bright Moments collaborated with 126 unique artists and produced 143 collections in partnership with ArtBlocks (+90% of the time), fxhash, Foundation, Highlight, or their own contracts.
The secondary volume across all collections is ±12819 ETH (±$40M). These are secondary sales volumes (not primary sales), and I'm using today's ETH and Tezos values, which have fluctuated heavily over the past three years.
There are 32,637 NFTs in total, with an average floor value of 2.09 ETH per collection. Only 3.4% are listed for sale.
The Crypto Citizens commanded 5,058 ETH (±$15M) in the secondary volume. 1,000 Crypto Citizens were minted in each city, and there are 10,000 in total. Their floor is 0.25 ETH.

Of course, these are subjective opinions, but for those interested in more than numbers, here are some of the collections I think will be remembered. I wish I could share a longer list, but for the sake of brevity, I've kept it short.
Over the past three years, Jeff Davis has exhibited in every city, developing a style that is both simple and graceful. As time passes, people will recognize the difficulty in acquiring a complete set of his works.
Seeing William Mapan's 1935 on a high-quality screen in Mexico City made it one of my favorites of all his works. The ink effect is something else.
Piter Pasma's 'Industrial Devolution' stands out for its technical prowess.
Snowfro, because 100 Untitled Spaces perfectly captures the IRL minting experience of being in a room, waiting for your random artwork to be displayed.
Sofia Crespo for pushing the boundaries of AI-assisted art and creating new lifeforms in 'Time after vessels.'
I couldn't leave out the Crypto Citizens, as having a full set is now an essential achievement for digital art collectors.
It has been a privilege to experience Bright Moments events in Mexico City, Paris, and Venice, Italy. These occasions were fundamental in advancing the digital art movement to a new level—progress that could take a decade, achieved here in just three years. The exceptional quality of the collections, alongside the insightful conversations and setups, was truly top-notch. I can confidently say that the unique and original experiences Seth Goldstein and the whole team put together will be missed.
Until next time,
