Never save your private key or seed phase on any device or cloud storage because if your device or cloud storage gets hacked, the hacker has your private key and can take everything in your wallet.

Your seed phrase is the key to your kingdom.

Always save the seed phrase on paper and store it in a place that only you have access to. It's the only way to recover your wallet if you lose access to your device.

When writing the seed phrase on paper, don’t include all the words. Leave some out for extra security, and either memorize them or store them in a secure location. That way, if someone gets hold of the paper, they still won't be able to access your account.

Signing one wrong transaction can cost you everything. Only connect your wallet to websites you trust and bookmark the websites you use. Read the transaction data before signing any transactions. Don't sign if you don't know what you're signing.

Use a burner wallet for airdrops and giveaways. Transfer any tokens or NFTs received to your permanent address.

If you're using wallet extensions, change the password on a monthly basis. Seed phrases are encrypted with your password and saved in your browser; if a hacker gains access to it, they have access to your wallet.

Hardware wallets, like Ledger and Trezor, are more secure than any software wallet. If you hold any crypto assets that you would rather not lose, use a hardware wallet - it's worth the cost!
