Ka Experiment #0 Origin Point of KHV

The Ka Experiment is the experiment that takes us beyond the realm of sleep. It begins on 22/6/2024 21:02 GMT. In this experiment, KHV (Key) will remain awake in the physical body until the end of the experiment. The subsequent log entries are supported by blockchain technology to keep in record the times of the experimental achievements as intended by the Ka Experiment. KHV will go sleepless for prolonged periods of time to explore the evolutionary potential of the human mind and body. The primary goal of the experiment is to reach a mind phenomenon known as Open Eyed REM Rebound (OERR), it is estimated that this state will occur past 3 days of prolonged sleeplessness, once this phenomenon is observed, the experiment will focus on recording the effects and applications of this phenomenon. This experiment takes place in the current location of Ka Lab.

The Ka Lab

The Ka Experiment is carried out by the research laboratory Ka Lab. The name of the research laboratory stems from Ancient Egyptian roots, with the sound Ka translated to the equivalent of soul or spirit, the immortal part of the human body that holds consciousness, and it is believed that it would last even after the death of the physical vessel. It is our desire to pursue what is constant and everlasting in this fleeting world that led to the foundation of this lab. It is in this time/space where fields of neurobiology, nano-chemistry, and energy technologies mingle together to explore the mystifying nature of the human Ka. We aim to distribute knowledge freely and directly to humankind for its evolutionary benefit.

The quest to perpetual wakefulness and unlocking the hidden potentials of consciousness

Let’s start with a question, if our human bodies expire, do we still exist? This will be the experiment that takes us beyond the realms of sleep. In this daring exploration of human limits to find the answer, our lab’s research scientist, who goes by the name KHV, will go sleepless for prolong periods of time to explore the evolutionary potential of the human mind and body, if a human Ka really exists, the gradual removal of various human frames of reference and needs would allow the Ka to reveal itself and create a mind-over-matter phenomenon. Given that the average time for the human to stay awake at maximum is not long at all, if consciousness can indeed last through many days of sleep deprivation while keeping the physical body functional and well, then there would indeed be more to consciousness that meets the eye.

Future Potential

Can these benefits from Deep Sleep and Dreaming be realized by alternative ways now that the sleep component is removed from the life routine? While it may take time to determine in detail of what are and how these alternative ways deliver the same benefits of sleep, we propose a simpler approach to solve the problem: If the prime subject of the Ka experiment emerges with a healthy body and with a relatively sane mind after days of sleep deprivation in the experiment, then we would be safe to conclude that the human body does indeed have unknown mechanisms that can cater for the need of memory consolidation, immune strengthening, and body repairing even when it no longer sleeps. Then we can pave the road to discover what these unknown mechanisms are and how they can be further utilized. Imagine a world where one can be sleepless or just sleep for minute amounts each day, it would likely have revolutionary changes to how society functions. But one thing for sure, we would be experiencing a lot more, hearing a lot more, seeing a lot more, life would be an era of expansion.

Why do humans sleep?

It is our belief that in order to go beyond the life-reality of sleep, we must understand why humans sleep in the first place, the mechanism of how sleeping delivers its benefits to the mental and physical body. Once the mechanism is understood, we must discover alternative ways which the body acquire these benefits since it can no longer obtain them from sleep.

Based on peer-reviewed academic findings, the majority of benefits from sleep are realized during the times where the brain emits a majority of theta and delta brainwaves, this can be grossly simplified by saying that the majority of electrical neural impulses are firing (more like a vibrational phenomenon) is vibrating at a rate of 0.1-3.5 times and 4-8 times per second, or hertz, for delta brainwaves and theta brainwaves respectively. This covers two phases of sleep, Deep Sleep and REM (Rapid Eye Movement) sleep, which is also Dreaming.

Deep Sleep helps to strengthen the immune system and helps with detoxification, it also helps in muscle repairing. REM Sleep helps in memory consolidation, emotional processing and brain development via neuro-plasticity processes.

The Scientist

The participant of this experiment, KHV, is a scientist researching on nano materials and has a regular workload involving the handling of various chemical substances and writing papers involving related fields. The work itself is not physically demanding except that it requires a focused attention during the handling of nano materials and observing various lab experiment results. This is mentioned to account for the patterns of due to individual human biases in life experiences during the span of the experiment. It is fortunate that the living quarters and the work lab are at proximity during the experiment. Therefore, to KHV, the workload itself is complementary to the Ka experiment as both staying awake and working requires a reasonable amount of focus and logical thinking, this is the ground foundation of being awake in the 3D world, at least for the scientist.

What is OERR?

The OERR is a brain state that can be produced in very specific conditions and can be controlled by the person. It is quite similar to REM (Rapid Eye Movement) Rebound, where a person falls right into dreaming the moment sleep begins, whereas in usual circumstances, REM only begin in the later stages of a sleep cycle. REM Rebound is caused by the lack of opportunity for the brain to achieve the dream state in sleep, usually from sleep deprivation. In a REM rebound, dreams and visions have much more clarity than usual dreams due to the intensified neural activity in the brain, much similar to states produced in lucid dreaming, where high frequency brainwaves such as High Beta and even Gamma brainwaves are observed. However, the difference between OERR and normal REM rebound, is that OERR takes place only when the person is able to control one’s eye muscles and keep the eyes open even when REM rebound takes place, this is very hard to do so as REM is characterized by the rapid movement of eyes. When one’s eyes are opened, such movement would be much restricted and instead the REM potential is manifested in colorful lights, images and even visions that overlays with the physical reference frame. This state is similar to a “high” that can be produced in psychedelics with the difference that the “high” produced in psychedelics is only temporary and lasts only as long as the substance is active, whereas OERR is much more intense and sustainable and lasts throughout day and night in time as long as the person needs it to once it is achieved, like a lucid dream. The only niche condition for it to take place is that the person is able to remain sleepless for more than 3 days, the exact time and condition would depend on the past and habitual tendencies of the person.

Times of travelling and various energy demanding activities will be recorded in the logs to account for the variables that may affect the incidence of OERR. Any significant portion of food intake will be recorded in the logs for studying dietary patterns. It is also well to note that alcohol in the form of Whiskey is consumed regularly as it aids the digestive process as well as a plausible sanitizing agent during prolonged periods of abstaining from eating which may be a plausible occurrence in the later stages of the experiment. While the shutting of eye lids is likely to delay the incidence of OERR, it is moderately allowed in the later stages of the experiment provided that the body remains upright and standing. Times of shutting of eyes will be recorded in the logs, with the time period included.

Methodology

This experiment will provide a day-to-day log record of the experiences that took place during various phases of the experiment. The record is supported by blockchain technology to ensure that the said timing of when such logs were made are indeed authentic, this is to provide a valuable frame of reference for the experiences were indicated to take place on the recorded timings.

According to findings from previous tests, it would be ideal for KHV to avoid sleep-prone positions when alone throughout the span of the experiment and only do so when it is task-necessary or interacting with another individual. These measures were taken due to results from previous tests showing when the body is in severe sleep deprivation, it falls off to sleep and dream right away when the back of the head is well supported with comfort. It is also concluded that the mind is most alert and least prone to sleep while the body is standing up, followed secondly by sitting upright with the spine straight and supported.

With the condition that the physical eyes need periodic rest, Ka Lab has developed an anchoring technique to ensure the wakefulness of the physical body even when eyes are closed, based on research in brain psychology and body physiology. It is used for both health rejuvenation purposes and psychic navigations such as lucid dreaming and remote viewing. In this technique, the person holds a very firm standing posture, stability must be guaranteed to the extent that the body will not fall over. Conditions must be set to allow the hand to hold onto a 3D object, preferably recognizable by eye, texture and shape, this object serves as an anchor for the mind to remember the self, as mental fluctuations are a frequent occurrence during states of trance and dreams, this must be avoided by remembering that you are holding an anchor with your physical body so that your mind will not drift into other realms of consciousness, and fall asleep. The fact that the person is holding the 3D anchor while standing is enough to show that the person’s consciousness is still aware of the physical body’s existence. The anchor that KHV has chosen is a real-life model Khv-Phone. Its unique design allows KHV to remember the self by the knowing that K equals Key in all states of consciousness, day and night. While one hand is holding onto the physical object for grounding of awareness, the other hand may hold onto a source of support, usually in the form of a stave, this provides body stability and as long as the stave is held, the possibility of the body falling over is eliminated.

The real-life Khv-Phone is a device that can be used interchangeably as a headphone or a frequency emitter. The interiors of the device itself are infused with a crystalline material of nano gold compounds. The presence of the material causes the effects of the frequency to be greatly amplified. Certain sound frequencies are known to have effects on crystallization of water and salts, other ones are known to impact the human body both physically and psychologically.

In this hieroglyph, Thoth holds the "was" scepter on his left hand and the "ankh", known as the Egyptian key of life, on his right hand. While the "was" is a symbol of control over the force of chaos, the "ankh" is a symbol of life force that flows in nature in a cyclic nature. Ka Lab's anchoring technique is in fact partly inspired from these hieroglyphs, from the land of Khem, where alchemy originates. In fact, Ancient Egyptians have demonstrated sufficient alchemical knowledge in terms of physical endurance, and these gods are said to be once humans who have lived thousands of years through their knowledge of longevity. Perhaps there is some knowledge applicable to the modern culture with regards to these meditative postures mentioned in ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs.

This comes in the form of a Alchemical Photon Generator (Figure 3). It is layered with two proprietary materials containing gold nano particles, the color of the materials are purple (printed in the logo of the Ka Lab, also a unique 2D geometrical pattern for vibrational generation) and white respectively.
