It was definitely a winning day.
Seeing a former role model completely out of emotional control was revealing.
Losing it. Almost violent.
Taking my iPhone, refusing to give it back.
Pushing me to sign something, but never actually allowing clarity.
A strange setting.
Heavy.
Usually draining.
But today was different.
I didn’t react.
I observed.
I stayed calm.
That calm unsettled him more than any argument ever could.
So I didn’t push.
I balanced.
And that balance was the real win.

A winning day in a tense exchange with a former role model; calm observation and balance reframed the moment, unsettling the other party and turning restraint into the real win. @0xleonardo
