ArDrive was built with the intention of getting permanent data storage into the hands of everybody. The ARDRIVE Token (?) makes it so users can take part in the ownership of ArDrive & help shape the future of the platform while benefitting from the upside. The 2022 Usage Rewards program, Inferno, is designed to reward users with ? tokens for uploading data through the ArDrive suite of apps. · Total number of tokens to be distributed: ?100,000 ? 80,000 for Group Efforts ? 20,000 for Individual Efforts · Upload stats are collected for the whole week, and rewards are sent out on the weekends. Group Effort We took a survey after our last rewards program, Dust, and learned that participants weren’t inclined to tell others about ArDrive because that would impact the amount of daily ? tokens they would receive. In an effort to change that, we propose a community effort to unlock ? tokens for everybody, with incentives for those that go above & beyond. · ?80,000 to be distributed over 40 weeks · Weekly rewards are sent out to the top uploaders of the week. ?2000 awarded OR rolled over per week. ? Upload data is collected from Sunday 12AM EST TO Saturday 11:59PM EST ? Rewards are distributed on Sunday evenings. · At least 50 unique wallets need to upload 1000MB for the week (.02AR from the faucet is 75MB as of 3/18/22) ? 50GB weekly or else nobody receives rewards for that week ? ? Tokens will only be distributed if 50 unique wallets have uploaded, if less than 50 wallets uploads 1000MB, the weeks' rewards will roll over into the next week. · Minimum amount uploaded to qualify for ? token distribution is 1000MB per week. · Top uploaders will receive the majority of ? rewards for the week. The scale of ArDrive Tokens looks like: · 1st: ?200 · 2nd: ?150 · 3rd: ?125 · 4th: ?100 · 5th: ? 75 · 6th: ?70 · 7th: ?65 · 8th: ?60 · 9th: ?55 · 10th: ?50 · 11-20: ?45 · 21-30: ?30 · 31-40: ?20 · 41-50: ?10 Gone Streaking · Limited weekly rewards will be awarded to users who upload big data data consistently. · Up to ?20,000 will be distributed for streaks. · Tokens left over will go back into the community pool to be used for future rewards programs & bounties. · Upload at least 1GB per day for 7 days in a row and get an additional ?200 tokens on top of the weekly rewards from Group Effort. · ? Token holders must have ?100 staked on community.xyz in order to receive Streak rewards. · Tokens must be staked for at least 30 days (or 21,600 blocks) to be eligible. · Streaks become eligible at week 20 of Inferno. · Keep an eye out on our Social Media for our announcement when Streaks start! · Streaks can only start on Sunday 12AM EST and run through Saturday 11:59PM EST
