Dear Lumoz Users,
Thank you for your continued attention and support for the Lumoz project. Recently, we have received feedback and concerns from some community members regarding node refunds. In response, we would like to make the following official announcement:
The Lumoz team is actively developing and refining the node refund process, and it was officially launched on June 19, 2025 at 16:00 (UTC+8),and The refund window will close at 00:00 GMT, July 20,2025
Official Node Refund Portal: https://lumoz.org/refund
This refund applies only to retail users who purchased node licenses through the official Lumoz website.
Once you connect the wallet address used to purchase the node, you will enter the refund process. The refund consists of the following four steps:
Step 1: Check Information
Submit the required information through the official form. Your submission will enter the review stage, which typically takes Up to one working week. Upon approval, you will proceed to the next step.
Step 2: Burn License
Before initiating the refund, users must undelegate their node and ensure it is no longer running.
Step 3: Return Rewards
All rewards earned through the node will be reclaimed. This includes, but is not limited to:
esMOZ rewards generated during node operation
Airdrops of esMOZ and Lumoz OG NFTs received via the node address
The value of these rewards will be converted to USDC. Specifically, the value of esMOZ rewards to be returned shall be calculated at 50% of the actually claimed amount, based on the 6-month average MOZ price on CoinMarketCap. NFT values will follow the same 6-month average valuation model.
Step 4: Check Refunds
After the reward reversal is completed, 80% of the original purchase amount will be refunded to the user via the original payment method and returned to the original wallet address.
Refund requests must be submitted using the original wallet address that was used to purchase the node License.
If the License is currently active or delegated, the user must first undelegate and burn the node. The refund can only be initiated after the node is fully deactivated.
If the License has been claimed to multiple wallet addresses, please ensure that all related node assets are consolidated back to the original purchase address. Failure to do so may affect refund approval.
The valuation of all rewards will be based on final calculations determined by the platform. Rewards such as esMOZ and OG NFTs will be converted to USDC based on the average prices over the past 6 months as listed on CoinMarketCap and NFT marketplaces.
Q1: Can I request a refund if I didn’t purchase the node through the official website?
A: No. This refund process is only available to retail users who purchased nodes directly through official Lumoz channels. Nodes obtained from other sources are not eligible.
Q2: My node is currently delegated. Can I still apply for a refund?
A: Yes, but you must undelegate and burn the node before you can proceed with the refund process.
Q3: My License has been claimed to multiple wallet addresses. What should I do?
A: You need to reclaim and consolidate all claimed Licenses back to the original purchase address, and use that address to initiate the refund request.
Q4: How will the value of the returned rewards be calculated?
A: All MOZ, esMOZ, and NFT rewards will be converted to USDC based on the average market price over the past 6 months.
Q5: When can I expect to receive my refund?
A: Once the refund system is live, the review and settlement process will take approximately 7–14 business days. Please stay tuned for further announcements and updates.
Q6: What if I submitted incorrect information and need to make changes?
A: Please open a ticket in the official Lumoz Discord and provide the wallet address you used in the form, along with the specific information you need to correct. Our team will assist you promptly.
While we are currently handling node refund matters, the Lumoz team remains fully committed to advancing our core product development. Our current priorities include:
Enhancing the AI Agent architecture and interaction capabilities
Further deploying a decentralized ZK computing network
Expanding and implementing the MCP standard application ecosystem
We firmly believe that only by building truly usable, intelligent, and secure Web3 infrastructure can the value of tokens and nodes be realized across broader, real-world scenarios.
We sincerely thank all users for your continued support and trust. Lumoz remains committed to delivering a user-centric and innovation-driven experience, as we steadily build a stronger ecosystem.
If you have any questions or feedback, please feel free to reach out via our official [Discord]—our team will respond as quickly as possible.
