The pages of Whiskers' story have always been filled with magic, dreams, and the unparalleled bond we share with you, our cherished community. Today, we find ourselves penning a chapter we never anticipated. After so much hard work, creativity, and shared dreams, Whiskers NFT Inc. will be closing its doors.
A brief look back...
Whiskers™ was birthed from a dream—to breathe life into the mesmerizing world of "The Great Pond," where enchanting koi and catfish, our beloved Whiskers, frolicked. These 5,555 unique art pieces were never just pixels on a screen but fragments of a tale where every Whisker could mirror the fantastic abstractions of their proud owners, writing stories limited only by imagination.
Our foray into merchandise and the animated world map were testaments to our commitment to bringing the Whiskers' world closer to you. Through our shared journey, we crafted a realm complete with its own card game, "Last Fish!," and its expansion, "Cards of Fortune," and brought Burt, a Whisker dear to all, into our world as a plushie. The lore of The Great Pond grew richer with every published chapter.
Yet, every story has its ebbs and flows.
It's vital to share that our relationship with each of you was deeper than on-chain transactions. It was about the shared love for art and storytelling. The Whisker you brought home was a canvas for your creativity, and a testament to the magic of community.
But every journey, no matter how beautiful, has its trials. The NFT market's unpredictability, coupled with the challenges of sustaining traditional revenue avenues, strained our resources. Despite our best strategies and your unwavering support, we've reached this difficult juncture. We gave our all, but the tides of business move in unforeseen directions.
While our story comes to an end, the tales of The Great Pond and the memories we've inked together are timeless. They remain as testaments to what you can create when art, dreams, and a passionate community converge.
We assure you that the decision to close Whiskers was made after exhaustive consideration and is in no way a reflection of our community's passion or support. Your belief, love, and dedication has been the wind beneath our wings. Though our story ends, our memories and the spirit of The Great Pond will live on as proof of what is possible for all of us.
Thank you for being the heart and soul of Whiskers. Your place in this story will forever be etched in our memories. Here's to the tales we've spun, the adventures shared, and the memories we'll always treasure.
