Hey whiskers 🐟 Hope you’ve been getting out and staying hydrated! Here’s what’s been happening this summer:

It's been confirmed, we will be attending Baltimore Comic Con as a vendor between September 8-10th! We've put in the deposit for our booth and have certain things to set up our booth. If you're in the area look forward to merch, interactive activities and meeting the Old Wizard himself! Also, locals will be able to find copies of Last Fish! at the board game bar/shop No Land Beyond in the city.

We’ll be selling copies of the game at a discount at Comic Con along with offering the last of our Books of Ponds editions of Last Fish! for sale exclusively in-person. We’re also having a wonderful giveaway at Comic Con that anyone who visits our booth can participate in to win a bunch of prizes.

Also…everyone who stops by will get an exclusive Burt, the Michievous Champion card, featuring artwork by myself and Zwist, available only at this event.

All the moving parts that encompass Last Fish! have been chugging along quite well! We've wrapped up design on our second expansion pack, abbreviated PxP in-house. Can guess what it stands for? The files have been sent to the manufacturer so now we're just waiting on getting the final proofs to release it later this year. Along with our resident creative team, we’ve also got some members of the OG Last Fish! creative gang helping out - Cliff and Zwist!

Similarly, we've also done a design refresh to the Standard Edition and those files have been sent in as well. The update to the Standard Edition isn't anything drastic, it just includes some small updates and cleanups to the original design and increased text size (read: doubled). In even more exciting news, our first expansion, Cards of Fortune, is live now on our webstore, and will be on Amazon within the next couple of weeks!

As an update for our lovely backers from the Kickstarter: get excited! Our game will be in your hands soon 😀USA orders have shipped, Canada’s games are en route to our distributor, and EU/UK games are in the midst of some additional required testing and will soon be shipped to a local distributor.

We are constantly looking at new storefront opportunities to expand our audience and make it even more convenient to acquire our game. That’s why in addition to our webstore, we’ve officially launched our Amazon store! Complete with super speedy shipping (aka Amazon Prime), we’re making it as frictionless as possible for interested whiskers to get their fins on our game. We’re happy to say that within the past month, the storefront has seen some success and a restock is already on the way. If you’ve purchased Last Fish! and enjoyed playing, it would make our team immensely happy if you took the time to give us a 5-star review 🤩💗

With the help of our new Business Wizard Kimmy, we’ve started testing out marketing ads for our storefront to increase visibility and attract more whiskers to the Great Pond. It's been an interesting past couple of months getting them going and we've encountered hurdles (such as the Shopify warehouses having issues and not delivering things properly), but we've also had several wins! We've been having a consistent number of sales, with our best day being, of course, Amazon Prime day. Although Amazon only currently has the base set (for now), it’s super convenient that they can fulfill orders worldwide more easily. Our own webstore has more products, though (and everyone loves our cozy sweater).

Along with continuing book four with new chapters we've also finally released the audiobook prologue that we've been hyping up! You can listen to Buga and Tinkerboops’ lovely voices right here 😌📖

Aside from that, we’ve also been working with manufacturers to create a Burt pillow plushie that we know you’ll love! We’re hoping to release it in our storefronts in the future (don’t worry, our original Burt plush will also still be available while supplies last).

We've got another new member on the team and we're doing a little switcheroo 🌀 Please welcome Noah as our new social media expert and Mu will be shifting her focus to graphic design (she will also continue to write these newsletters). We're excited to have Noah on board as he will be able to hopefully provide some fun new ideas for our social media!
