MegaFi ALM (Automated Liquidity Manager) Guide - Part 3 (Dynamic Mode)

Disclosure: This article explains how MegaFi’s ALM works and is intended for educational purposes only. It is not financial advice or a product promotion.

Some markets trend upward.
Some markets trend downward.

And then there are the markets that don’t follow any rules at all.

The ones that move like lightning.
The ones that wick violently both ways.
The ones where price teleports.

That’s the playground Dynamic Mode was built for.

If Bull Mode farms optimism
and Bear Mode farms fear,

Dynamic Mode farms chaos.

What is Dynamic Mode?

Dynamic Mode is MegaFi’s “follow the price” engine.

It does not commit to a single direction.
It does not stay still like Static Mode.
It does not lean bullish or bearish.

Instead, it:

  • tracks the price up

  • tracks the price down

  • keeps your liquidity hugging the active zone

  • maximizes fee opportunities during volatility

It’s the mode for markets that don’t make sense.
For days when $MEGA moves like it’s possessed.
For conditions where liquidity sitting in one place is basically AFK.

Dynamic Mode = hyperactive LPing optimized for MegaETH’s millisecond speed.

Why Use Dynamic Mode?

Choose Dynamic Mode when:

  • price is swinging wildly

  • volatility is high

  • both directions are in play

  • you don’t want to pick a side

  • you want constant fee exposure

  • you want your liquidity to chase action

  • you want maximum time spent inside the active tick

Dynamic Mode shines in:

  • MegaETH launch week

  • aggressive chop

  • news volatility

  • large whale moves

  • liquidity shocks

  • rapid reversals

  • memecoin madness

In other words:
the markets where normal LP strategies get destroyed.

How Dynamic Mode Works?

Using $USDm / $MEGA:

You deposit your liquidity in or near the current price range.
From there, two main scenarios happen:

🔺 If $MEGA Pumps (Uptrend Move)

  • traders buy $MEGA

  • price shifts upward

  • your $USDm sells into buyers

  • your range becomes inactive

  • MegaFi’s ALM moves your liquidity up, just below the new price

  • your liquidity stays active again

This is similar to Bull Mode, but Dynamic Mode also handles the opposite direction.

🔻 If $MEGA Dumps (Downtrend Move)

  • traders sell $MEGA

  • price shifts downward

  • your $MEGA sells to exiting traders

  • your position becomes inactive

  • MegaFi’s ALM moves your liquidity down, just above the new price

  • your liquidity re-enters the active zone

Dynamic Mode tracks both sides of the move with automated repositioning.

Why Dynamic Mode Can Earn More?

Most LP strategies only farm one side of the trend.\

Dynamic Mode farms everything:

  • every wick

  • every correction

  • every reversal

  • every fakeout

  • every panic candle

  • every pump + retrace

  • every arbitrage cycle

MegaFi keeps your liquidity near the tick where trades are happening, meaning you’re farming both bulls and bears at the same time.

Volatility = volume
Volume = fees
Dynamic Mode = closest to the chaos

Perfect formula.

Example:

Position: $186,282
Pair: $USDm / $MEGA
Mode: Dynamic
Market: fast, unstable, violent, high-volume

Here’s what happens:

1. You Stay Active More Often

Dynamic Mode is designed to keep your liquidity near the live price, meaning:

  • more fee events

  • more arbitrage interactions

  • more time in-range

  • more realized yield

In high volatility, this matters more than anything.

2. Fee Collection Spikes During Chaos

During aggressive chop, fee APR can easily reach:

0.4% — 0.6% per day

Using 0.5% for realism:

$186,282 × 0.005 = $931/day
~$6,500 per week (if volatility stays high)

This is the real power of volatility-driven LPing.

3. Your Exposure Flips With the Market

This is the highest-risk element:

  • after big pumps → you end up holding $MEGA

  • after big dumps → you end up holding $USDm

  • after chop → you end up partially in both

Dynamic Mode sacrifices stability for maximum opportunity capture.

You are exposed to both directions,
because that is precisely where the fee engine thrives.

Caution

Dynamic Mode is:

⚠️ riskier than Bull/Bear
⚠️ heavily exposed to both tokens
⚠️ vulnerable to divergence loss
⚠️ not suitable for calm markets
⚠️ not predictable

It is the adrenaline mode.
You choose it when your goal is fee maximization during extreme volatility.

When Should You Choose Dynamic Mode?

Choose Dynamic Mode when:

you expect massive price swings
you want your liquidity constantly active
you want to capture every move
you don’t care about precise exposure
you’re okay with higher IL risk
you want maximum fee farming potential
market conditions are unpredictable
you want to farm both directions

Dynamic Mode = the highest activity, highest potential, highest risk mode.

Alpha

Bull Mode farms buyers. Bear Mode farms sellers.
Dynamic Mode farms everyone.

TL;DR — Dynamic Mode

Dynamic Mode keeps your liquidity chasing the price — up or down — maximizing fee capture in fast, volatile markets.

It’s the mode for chaos.
The mode for Ultra Vol.
The mode for MegaETH’s millisecond environment.

Next Up: Static Mode

The calm mode.
The low-maintenance mode.
The “park liquidity and chill” mode.
