Singapore, September 12, 2025 — The Caixin Asia Vision Forum 2025, organized by Caixin Global with strategic support from the Singapore government, was held in Singapore from September 11–13. Centered on global economic dynamics, technological transformation, and regional cooperation, the forum gathered over 400 investors, entrepreneurs, and senior government officials from 12 countries and regions. Distinguished guests included Gan Kim Yong, Singapore’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Trade and Industry, as well as former Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd.
At the panel “Digital Assets in Motion: The Next Era of Finance”, Lee Kai Yang, Co-Founder and CEO of DMZ Finance, joined leaders including the CEO of HashKey Exchange Business Group, Circle’s Vice President for Strategy and Public Policy for Asia Pacific Region, the Chairman of Metacomp, and an advisor to the Solana Foundation, to share in-depth perspectives on the transformation of digital assets.
Lee Kai Yang highlighted that stablecoins represent the first large-scale commercial use case for RWA (real-world asset) tokenization, paving the way for more categories of assets to be brought on-chain. He emphasized that RWA tokenization will lay the foundation for the next generation of financial infrastructure, offering significant advantages in efficiency, cost, transparency, programmability, and liquidity. He also underscored the rapid development of digital assets in the Middle East and shared DMZ Finance’s milestone collaboration with Qatar National Bank in launching the first regulated tokenized money market fund at the Dubai International Financial Centre.
“DMZ Finance will continue to leverage its dual-region strategy of ‘anchored in Asia-Pacific, connected with the Middle East’, placing compliance at the core while joining forces with top ecosystem partners to build the next-generation capital market powered by RWA,” Lee Kai Yang said. “We will also work closely with academia and industry pioneers to accelerate the deep integration of digital assets and traditional finance, fostering a more open, inclusive, and sustainable new era of finance.”
