The enhanced custody insurance offers HashKey Exchange an 18-month policy featuring expanded protection, covering at least 50% of the platform’s custodied assets. Supported by reinsurance from firms with a minimum financial strength rating of “A-” from AM Best and “AA-” from Standard & Poor’s, this program strengthens HashKey Exchange’s robust risk management framework, providing added security for both retail and institutional clients.
Beyond increased insurance coverage, this partnership has also optimized HashKey Exchange’s custody design, further safeguarding the core assets within its ecosystem. This initiative marks a significant advancement in comprehensive asset protection and risk mitigation.
A key driver behind this pivotal development is the collaboration with Lloyd’s coverholder Evertas and specialty broker Elmore, which has facilitated seamless coordination between OneInfinity and HashKey.
